Luna returned to camp later that evening with a small snowshoe hare dangling from her jaws. It's pelt was warm, as it was a fresh kill, and she could still feel the last of its breath leaving its body. Her gaze focused on the kill pile as she set it down gently, then glanced around before deciding whether to go to her den, or find something better to do.

Rider tilted her ears backwards when hearing faint who's from an owl. The sound seemed to keep her company as she walked around the forest near camp, taking in the sights and sounds of the surroundings. Her pitch black pelt kept her hidden in the shadows.

Cyn sensed that something was not right. So she picked up her pups and moved them to the back of the den. There she curled around them and watched the entrance of the cave.
