Just a question, but is the writing contest still accepting entries?

Well you know I was actually just thinking about that, and I was thinking of canceling the contests since we never got them running very well and there is no prize or judges at the moment. Maybe it would be better just to have fan art and fan writing just made for the club, more like a share your work rather than having it judged?? I could share all of it on the front page in separated by the different types. Although, it should really be up to the members, so if you guys want to keep the contest going, we can get that running too!

Favorite character: Edmund is my favorite, however, I also love Aslan.
Favorite book or movie: My favorite book is The Silver Chair; favorite movie is The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe.
Anything else you would like to share: Not really, I suppose. Just that I've been a huge fan for years now ^-^

I don't think the loss at the raid as the saddest cause it's a movie event, but the saddest book event is when they return to Narnia the first time only to find their castle in ruins, that they are now a fairy tale, and no one has faith in them. I can easily imagine how it must feel to know you are who you say you are and your abilities, and nobody believes you about either. They had to prove themselves and gain everyone's trust. The scene itself isn't sad, but the situation makes it what's so sad.

The saddest SCENE in the books, would be when prince caspian's son is begging to be released from the silver chair and he's afraid the narnians sent to save him isn't going to do it.

I thought that
1. Reepicheep going to Aslans country was sad-I seriously cried.
2. The Destruction/End of Narnia
3. When I found out that all the Pevensie kids died in a freaking train accident! I cried so hard!

Well, if no one's entering the competition, then maybe we could take it down, then put it back up after a while?

On another note, something's been nagging at me to write a Narnia fanfic, somewhere between The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe, and Prince Caspian..
Does anyone have any ideas?
I've got one really prominent one, but I need sub-plots to push mine along.
