@ Not Me; Looks great for drawing a horse for the first time! Some things wrong arethe neck and head are too small/thin,the body is too long and thin, horse's bodies are quite strong and able so they're muscley, and the legs seems a tad too extended. I like the colors! C:

@ Bwerecat; Same here,rt semester is over unless I want more classes. Ooo,contour lines! Those are really great,I adore how you did them! I can't draw much other than a handbag with them. Love the AWD muchly. Scratchboards must've been really fun to use,I love how you got the pattern on it.~ That beetle is absolutely marvelous. I have no clue how to work with metal,so kudos to you for using it. <3 I can't really see much wrong with any of it,as it seems more like an abstract thing with the contours and metal workings.

@ Marmoset ; Love the expression this guy has! Only things I see off is that the chest is way too high, and the rib area of the chest should be farter than the elbows by a bit. And the ears are a little bit off, they should stretch down near the back off the head and have more of a conical shape than a triangle. The bandanna is awesome really! I can't draw bandannas to save my life.

@ August ; Love how realistic it looks! The back legs seem a bit off though. The haunch should be farther up,and the foot should be tucked under it a bit more. It looks a bit awkward right now. I might be able to redline if you want? c:

I'd love comments, critiques,or redlines on this one. I've been suffering from art block for a while now. c:

Laelia- Thank you ^^ A redline would be awesome if you have the time <3 I love the picture you posted, my only suggestion is to round out the feet since they seem a little pointed near the heel, but it's very pretty ^^

The only thing I noticed that seemed off was the heels on the person. ^^
Dunno how to explain it, though, lol. :b

The legs on both look short to me, especially for a manga style where legs are usually ridiculously long. ;P

The wolf's torso is too short, if he tried to run his own legs would prevent him by smacking together. See how that works, or am I not being clear? :S I use little tricks like that to help me draw, but I never know if they're Greek to other people. xD

Other than that, looks great! Very lovely color choices.

@ august ; doneee
The muzzle was a bit too sloped down so the muzzle black line was more to thicken it and such. The front legs were too short, almost missing a joint at the front leg? Corrected the back leg and such. Pretty much the rest is great! C: Ignore my paws' shape. owo

@Samurai ; Really? I think the legs are fine actually, they're a little less than half the body's height and that's correct actually. I don't like lanky legs on anime haha. I find it odd actually.

I see what you mean about the waist though,I'll try to work on that.
Thank you.~ c:

Something bothers me about the corrections there, and I'm not sure at ALL what it is, so I'm just going to post pictures of wolves in similar positions and hope that one of you can make use of them. xD

Yes, but you are drawing in a specific style; you kind of have to follow their rules. :P

I also think that the girl seems to have a bit short legs. The rule of thumb that I use for legs is that the distance between heel and crotch should be the same as the distance between the crotch and the top of the head, it usually works for me. I never draw humans though, so don't trust me^^'.

Your drawing of a wolf is very cute, but I find it a little tricky to tell the rounded style appart from the anathomy. The torso looks a bit short, and I think a bit of definition would look nice arount the neck to distinguish it from the back and chest. I love the face though, it's really cute^^.

About the redline for .August, I think that the back, muzzle and hind legs looked better in .August's version. A wolfs muzzle shouldn't be that boxy. I agree on the front legs though, they could need a bit of definition around the wrists.

Thank you very much for the lines ^^ I'll try to fix up the legs, I don't know if I can fix the muzzle without making it look bad, it took a long time to try to get it to not look really weird xD Thank you though ^^

I agree with Spotty about the redline. You made the hind leg MUCH too big in the redline-- legs also don't point up like that-- and the rump should come up a little more.
You're right about the forelegs themselves, but the shoulder in the redline looks way too big.
