When people don't ask you to do something nicely, so you refuse to do it, then they yell at you. If you want to motivate someone to do something, ask them and say please. I am so sick of being expected to do things when people don't say nice things to me! A simple, "Hey Jen, would you do this for me please?" would be nice instead of a, "All you do is sit on your can all day, get up and do this."

AG has a point, but at the same time, I don't think that when someone says "I hate religion" they actually mean to say they hate it itself. They simply dislike the people in it who act like morons... I am sure every one of us has experienced one person who has gone to the extreme because of their religion. I mean, how can you hate religion itself? It's like telling a spoon it's stupid--cruel and unusual! I always think it says a lot about someone's intelligence when they can call an inanimate object stupid, you know? Same goes for religion, I guess. Maybe we should start saying "we don't like ignorant religious folk" instead? I'll try harder to do that from now on.

Catholics are Christians. Just a branch of Christianity, like Methodists or Anglicans. Why are people confused about this.

I believe in God, but I don't go to church, and I don't really study religions o.o

That falls in the realm of general knowledge that pretty much everyone should know, tbqh.

If you've studied western history, at all, knowing what the Catholic church is all about and that Catholics are Christians (and, thus the formation of the Anglican church when Henry the 8th wanted to get laid yet again) are kind of very important.

Why is it only Breast Cancer that gets all the attention and the charities and the support?
No offense meant to anyone who's been affected by it, but what the hell? It's not the only kind of cancer out there. It's not even the most common, or the most deadly. Lung cancer kills about four times more people, and is only a little less common.
Brain cancer is relatively rare, but it's probably one of the worst ways to die I can think of.

And yet everywhere there's the pink ribbons and the fund raisers and everything. I don't get it. I honestly don't. Why not just make a general cancer charity? It seems a little unfair that the second people hear the word cancer they think of breast cancer and never bother to think about the others.

Also, people who think that people with lung cancer don't deserve any sort of help because they "brought it upon themselves" by smoking." Smoking is a disgusting habit and it almost certainly causes it, yes, but seriously? The fact that people do so little research on a disease that infects and kills so many people all because they think these people don't deserve help sickens me.
There's no excuse for that. I'm sick of hearing this argument, it's disgusting.

I don't care about the little pink ribbons and I know breast cancer a horrible disease, but it's not the only form of cancer. Not by a long shot.

I completely agree with this, so hard.
My grandfather died of Pancreatic cancer. It was really, really horrible, too. And I'm not exactly certain, but I've never really seen big huge funds going around for that cause. Lung cancer as well! I'm not at all against supporting breast cancer but you'd think that maybe other types could get more attention.

I refuse to use an actual song because that just looses all the touch and aaaaahhh.
