Feynriel is incredibly curious and, at times, can be a little foolhardy. Feynriel as a small kind side, something he rarely shows, but only to his sister and someone who actually gained his respect. Feynriel has an insatiable appetite for sweets and will try anything atleast once.

Lanayru shares her brother's pride. She is dainty, elegant and at times, a little vain. Lanayru doesn't care much to getting dirty or hard work. She uses her mischievious side to trick others into doing her work for her. Also like her brother, she has a kind and soft side, but only for her friends or those she truly loves. She loves the finer things, especially anything pretty or sparkly.
The once dormant vortex swirled to life. The dizzying rainbow of colors and light splashed across the walls of the cave and the group of excited suitors waiting for the newest Ahz to be born. A collective gasp echoed throughout the cave as not one, but two stepped out the vortex.
The twins padded out of the vortex together, their pelts brushing and their tails intertwined. A pair of gold and a pair of blue eyes darted around the crowded yet silent cave, a mingled mix of mischievity and curiousity glinted in their depts. Slowly, they started to pad down the slope, their paws matching step for step, and their senses alert to their new surroundings.
A loud roar echoed off the cave walls and halted the pair in their tracks. A larger Ahzenai bounded down from his perch, his eyes glowing in the darkness. "Greetings." His deep voice reverberated in his throat. "It is good to finally see the both of you here, Lanayru and Feynriel." Valcyon rumbled, his voice rising high enough for the assembled to hear their names.
The black Ahzenai was the first to step forward, he dipped his head in respect at Valcyon before turning towards the crowd. His golden eyes darted across the assembled crowd and a the mischievious grin spread across his maw. "I am Feynriel." He said, his voice rang with power and his eyes glowed defiantly. "I am seeking a companion. Someone to travel and explore with." He paused dramatically, his eyes scanning the anxious suitors. "However, I am not to be tied down. I do as I please and when I want to." He said, his golden eyes narrowing. He stepped back, pressing his fur against his sibling's.
The female was next step forward. Her chin was raised proudly and she had an air of elegance around her. Her pale white fur was decorated with intricate black markings and not a speck of dirt could be seen. She looked down her snout at the assembled creatures before she decided to speak. "I am Lanayru." Her voice was soft and very feminine, but it was strong with confidence. "I am also seeking a companion. One that will not make me traverse the wilds or gets my paws dirty, of course." She said, wrinkling her nose in disdain at the thought.
With a lash of her tail, she joined her brother and together they waited for the first wave of suitors.
The vortex lurched into a sluggish start. It swirled at what appeared to be a pace of -2 kilometers per hour and continued at that pace for a good half an hour. The suitors were beginning to grow impatient with the vortex's lazy spirals when a single white paw decorated with intricate gold designs appeared. The paw kept coming and coming. And then, with a movement that attracted the attention of all the suitors simultaneously, the paw twitched. It began to wriggle and spin, seemingly possessing no bone structure as it twisted itself into "S" shapes and slapped against the ground. The suitors' jaws hung open as the contortionist paw did a cobra impersonation. And then, with a sudden surge of movement, the paw gave birth to a pair of hind legs, an abdomen, a pair of front legs and finally a head. For the paw had not been a paw at all, but a tail.
The Ahz that had finally been wrenched from the depths of the vortex sat on her bottom blinking slowly. She turned her head towards the audience, found Valycon, reached out a paw to take a step towards him and as soon as it touched the ground again, as though this limb was pulled by some extreme force, the paw sped off to the left and the Ahz fell flat on her face. The crowd gasped and rushed forward to see if she was alright. With a grunt, she sat herself back up and nonchalantly shook the dust off her fur, her expression unfazed. An awkward silence fell over the cave after the backwards birth of the incredibly clumsy Ahz. Valycon eventually cleared his throat to address the audience.
"Galgael!" Valycon called her name out to the suitors. There was an awkward silence following his announcement. Galgael reached out another paw to take a step and the crowd gasped in worry that she would trip again. The paw landed with a safe "pat" sound on the earth. They sighed with relief, then pretended not to have worried for Galgael's safety in case they had offended her. The awkward silence descended again as each suitor began to sweat profusely under Galgael's expressionless stare.
"I am ridiculously clumsy" Galgael said bluntly, remaining expressionless. "I am very bad at making conversation and will tend to make every situation awkward. You'll need first aid on you at all times if you want to try living with me. You should also be the type of person that doesn't move around a lot. Or at all. So if you decided to woo me because I have pretty flower designs..."
There was noticeable nervousness in the audience at this remark.
"... Thank you for the compliment. My fur smells more like pistachios, however. No floweryness whatsoever."
It had been a few hours after Galgael's incredibly awkward birth before the vortex began to spin again. In sharp contrast to her entrance, the vortex managed to spin about three times at a speed of 150 kilometers per hour before a small black Ahz came tumbling from it's center. Swiftly recovering himself, the Ahz struck a pose, flexing his muscles and raising his chin up high. He should have had no difficulty looking intimidating as his fierce golden eyes pierced the audience. However, his small stature diminished the effect of his gaze with ease. He was just ridiculously tiny for an Ahz. About the size of a normal lion, he was dwarfed by the massive liger-sized Ahz that usually popped out of the vortex. Before Valycon even had the chance to announce him, the minute Ahz jumped to the edge of the rockface and leaned out over the audience.
"My loyal fans!" he yelled, "At long last, your idol is here!"
The Ahz did a little flip, pausing for effect and receiving a small applause from his audience, to which he bowed in an exaggerated and very energetic manner. He paused for a moment, perking his ears and narrowing his eyes in suspicion. "Did I hear someone say... that I'm small for an Ahz?"
Silence descended over the cave as he scanned the faces of the suitors. "I must have been hearing things then. Because if anyone had dared to call me small... they might find themselves facing the wrath of the mighty..."
The little Ahz got stuck at this point. He whirled to face Valycon.
"Hey red guy!" he yelled, "what's my name?"
Valycon sighed softly before announcing, "Mascalzo".
Mascalzo puffed himself up and strutted up and down the edge of the rockface in a very businesslike manner. "I'm one for the action!" he yelled to the suitors. "I require someone that will be my number one fan; that will run my fanbase, that will wave pompoms when I so much as wiggle my paw dramatically! I need someone that'll be willing to escort me to my various appointments across the country! You think you got what it takes to be the manager of the Mighty Macalzo?!! If you're willing to try, you have my permission to approach. Autographs are ten pieces of meat each!"
