He padded into the nursery, still mad he couldn't leave camp. "I'm more mature than the other kits, why can't I go and hunt?!..." He asked himself. He noticed Raggedkit wiping his tears away and laughed a little. "Oh come on kit! What so bad in your life you must be crying?! There's millions of cats worse off than you!....."

Batwing purred and nuzzled Icehawk. "I'm glad I have you around. I don't know what I'd do without you." he told her, smiling slightly.

Raggedkit flattened his ears and backed up. "I-I..." he stammered, frozen with an emotion he couldn't describe.
