Bio wrote:Name: "Arathea"
Gender: "Female"
Specimen Number: "Escaped Zver #CC3"
Personality: "This girl's soft, loving appearance is extremely misleading. This girl is very stubborn and hard-headed, determined to do things her way. She doesn't react well to being restrained, and is a force to be reckoned with." - Metallic Dragon
"This particular Zver is very much like the wind itself. She's wild, carefree, and at times a little reckless. She rolls into the scene much like a powerful storm, loud and demanding everyone's attentention while at the same time showing beauty and an underlying power. She blows over everyone, refusing to give in to fear or a potential threat, and may even push aside those who get in her way. At times, however, she can be a breeze, still as wild but not with as much energy, and showing a warm kindness to those she loves."
Introduction/Story:
The white creature ran. Her paws were a blur of motion as her powerful limps propelled her forth. Her breath came out in pants and her dark eyes blurred from wind buffeting them. Behind her, sirens rang. Her delicate ears were assaulted by the harsh sound, but it only spurred her pick up the pace. She was flanked by two other escapees. The dark coat of a male and the tan coat of a female. Together, they were becoming fugitives. Together, they would be free.
Expanding the last of her energy, she managed to pass the final hurdles to freedom and leave that horrible place behind. They would no longer be stared or prodded at like some prey about to be eaten. No. She was the hunter now. And just wait till she met those hairless two-legs in the open.
Slowly, I made my way home from school. My shoulder ached from the weight of books in my backpack and a dull throbbing had set residence in my skull. It was one of those days. I gave a weary sigh and forced my tired legs to carry me home. Only a few blocks and I would be home. If you could call it that.
"Hey!" I paused when I heard a harsh cry, almost like nails on a chalkboard, sound behind me. I turned around and noticed a group of guys from my school. A malicious look gleamed in their eyes. "You managed to slip from our grasp back at school, but you don't have any teachers to protect you now!" The bigged boy yelled. He raised a grimy hand and pointed an equally grimy finger in my direction. "Get him!" He barked to his cohorts.
Without waiting to see if they obeyed I spun around and ran. I dropped my books from my shoulder in an effort so I could gain more speed. I could hear the boys behind me slowly catching up. I made a snap decision and crashed into the forest that surrounded the neighborhood.
My breath was ragged as I fought to keep ahead of my persuers. My heart pounded in my ears but I could still hear them behind me. I hopped over fallen tree trunk, but my shoelaces got caught. I gave a cry of surprise and pain as I slammed into the forest floor. Desperately I kicked and struggled vainly trying to get free.
I saw the boys approaching. Their fingers were curled into fists and their grins were almost snarls. I close my eyes, waiting for the end when I heard one of the boys scream in fear. My eyes flew open and then widened in shock.
A bizarre white creature was snarling at the boys. Her wide white paws lashed out with sharp claws and her pearl and teal tail lashed back in forth. Truthfully, she was terrfying and the other boys thought so too. They quickly turned tail and ran, their shrieks echoed in the forest.
Swiftly, I managed to get my foot free but the noise attracted the attention the large panther-like creature. Her dark green eyes narrowed on me as she krept closer and her shoulders were bunched, ready to fight if necessary. My breath caught in my throat and I was unable to tear my eyes from the beautiful yet deadly creature.
She paused suddenly, and she leaned towards my hand and I noticed strange little pores near her eyes. Her tongue dashed out and licked the back of my hand and my heart fluttered.
I didn't know what this bizarre yet beautiful creature was, but I suddenly fell in love with her. Judging from the way her tail flicked, and she headbutted my shoulder, she felt the same way.

Dear Journal,
Alright, I would like to say sorry for not writing the last few months. It's been kinda crazy and I couldn't find the time. Now, I would like to say, I finally ran away from home. I know I know, big shock. Surprisingly though, I didn't run away because of my neglegent parents, or the abusive kids at school, or any other reason. No. I ran away because of an alien.
A few days ago, a strange white panther-like creature protected me. At first I was afraid, but insanely curious at what the creature was. It wasn't until I had snuck her home and saw the news bulletin on TV that I realized what she was. She's called a Zver. Supposedly, this species is incredibly dangerous but they are trying to get civilians to help recapture them. Dangerous? I can hardly call her dangerous, especially now looking at her curled up asleep with her forehead pressed against my legs. No, definately not dangerous. I think I will call Arathea, an elvish name for wind. It seems to suit her.
I don't know what will happen in the next few days. I have some cash, spare cloths, and other useful items tucked away in may backpack and Arathea is proving to be an invaluable hunter. However, she can be a little reckless. It was quite amusing to watch her find out what exactly brambles are. Maybe next time she won't be too stubborn and actually listen to me. Silly girl.
I will keep writing if good fortune permits. I know no one will read this unless the worse has happened. Atleast this will help me keep some of my sanity in check and to prove to others that these...Zvers are not dangerous.
What have I gotten myself into?
