Plot

David Henry Jones, otherwise known as Davy Jones, is the dreaded pirate of the the seven seas, not to mention the oceans as well. Along with as being elusive and ugly, he also had a tangle with the sea goddess, Calypso.

But before he was nasty, and mean; before the growth on his face, and the distortions to his body; before he was known world-wide, he was just a man. Born to a poor farmer, Davy was just a normal Englishman, toiling all day long to just get by. He grew up, moved away and married a sea man's daughter. They had one child, a daughter. When she was four years old, he went off to sea, only returning every six months, then once a year; until his wife finally died, and their daughter was left to Davy. At the age of eleven, she was a skinny, but hard-working girl. Davy decided to take little Deverie Serbba Jones with him on his voyages on the Black Knight. She loved it. The sea, the wind, the crew, and her father. The food was horrible, but she didn't care. As years wore on, and Deverie became a young woman, Davy was also growing old. He no longer could fight as hard, but his heart was strong and determined.

On one uneventful night Deverie was awakened by the blood-curdling screams of her father. She went to his musty cabin as fast as her feet would carry her. Her father was lying on his bed, a strange creature on his chest pulling something out of his body. His life. The demon-like creature placed the glowing substance in a small jar, put a lid on it and turned around to see Deverie dumbstruck in the doorway. The creature hissed and disappeared, but a piece of parchment paper was left lying on her dead father's chest, who was lying motionless on his bed, apparently dead. Deverie rushed to Davy, placing a cool hand on his forehead, it was cold. She sobbed for hours, when she realized she was alone on the ship.

Using the skill she had, she dragged all the dead men down below decks, but left her father where he was, the parchment -- written in an unknown language-- in her large red cloak. She got herself back to a small port in England, carted the dead bodies to each family, and buried her own father, never letting a tear escape her green eyes.

Now, 12 years later, Deverie --or as she is known by popularly, Davy Jones-- is carrying out her father's mission, the dreaded pirate of the sea. But unbeknown to anyone else, she is a female in the guise of a man. Otherwise, no one would dare board a ship with a woman as their captain.

Will you follow Davy on a wild quest to the ends of the earth with little more than a fable?

Personality: Davy is an intriguing woman. She is thoughtful, wise, charming, but has quite a temper. She has the well-earned respect of her crew, but if they slip, she is quick to punish. At times she may seem merciless, but she feels that she must have discipline. She, seemingly to all around her, has a heart of steel, never letting the slightest kind or affectionate romance anywhere near her. She is despicable, and stubborn, but easily changes her mind on her time. She doesn't bother with the whistles she sometimes gets. Pirates are nasty lovers, and only want to take what you may or may not have. She is prideful, and very argumentative. She will lecture her crew just to get her point, though she already knows that as captain she is always right.

Appearance: Deverie is quite an interesting figure to describe, but I shall try. She is well above average height for a woman, but short on the men's scale (for that is what everyone think she is); 5'10. Her figure is quite lovely, but extremely muscular. For the most part, she hides her curves behind men's apparel, which gives her a more brawny look. Her hair is jet black and cut short. Her eyes are a dazzling green, her nose is quite delicate, and her lips are pleasantly plump. Since she has fair skin, blushes and fuming are much more easily seen. Her fingers seem to be delicate an dainty, but are weather-worn and used to hard labor. She normally wears extremely faded jeans with a white fluffy shirt, the sleeves rolled up to her elbows. Boots and gloves are also part of her wardrobe, along with a giant belt accross her small waist. A bandanna usually encompasses her waist and head, to keep the hair out of her eyes; and her old, worn captain's hat is almost always on her head.

Personality: Esmeralda is a very loud person. She is outgoing and will talk to anyone. She can often get into fights and will not hesitate to tell someone what she thinks of them, bad or good. She is honest and brutal and is very independent. She doesn't like being told what to do but will do anything for friends. Friendship is important to her and she is very kind to her friends. She is reliable and people can turn to her with anything even if she isn't that good at giving advice. She will try her hardest to make the situation better but can sometimes end up making it worse.
Appearance: She is thought of as quite good-looking. She had short brown hair which she cuts herself. Her eyes are a light green and the color can sometimes be hard to spot. Her eyes are what give her personality away. Sometimes they change to a deeper color when she is angry or defending herself. Her clothes are either black or blue and unlike her picture she doesn't have the blue fabric on her hat.
