2. How much time do you spend on CS? Around 2-5 hours a day, usually from around 5pm-11pm Onyx time. I also check in every morning, and usually throughout the day. On the weekends however, I get on very frequently throughout the day, and usually stay on around 4-8+ hours.
3. How much time do you need to write an intro/acceptance? I write quite quickly, and I enjoy thinking of characters that suit their appearance =) I would say around 20-40 minutes to give me time to think of names, personalities, and a unique intro story. (and then make sure I spelled everything correctly XD)
4. Your intro for the two:
Above the crowd of camping suitors, the vortex began to lightly glow. Small swirls and signs of life were present to those who paid attention, but no flashy sparks or spinning whirls caught the attention of any but the most observant. Slowly it's color changed into two distinct sections that circled each other, black and white, round and round. Finally someone loudly exclaimed, "Look at the vortex! It's moving again!" As if recognizing that it now had an audience, the vortex flared brighter, and spun faster. With one final flash, two Ahzenai emerged from it's light and continued to circle each other. A large pristine white male caught the eye of most of the spectators who watched the birth in silence. Decorated in intricate swirls, he was bold and graceful, and an aura of honesty and calm hung around him. Similarly decorated, the lithe black female exuded the same graceful confidence as her brother, although her movements were layered in charm and intrigue. Together as one they stopped as faced each other.
"Our birth was a long time coming, brother." her voice was light and sweet, but a few suitors could hear the underlying strength in her words.
"So it was." he replied, his voice rich and strong, unhurried as he gazed at his sister. "I assume you intend to leave at once?"
"I intend to find a companion who seeks answers to questions similar to mine, and then leave, yes"
"Just as I am content to search for answers here"
"You know our natures are as fire and water?" she told him
"Just as well as you" he responded, taking no offense to the arched tone she had used. The black female nodded and then sought the eyes of Valcyon who announced her name, "Cimorene and her brother, Mendanbar!"
Cimorene glided over to the suitors and formally introduced herself,
"I am Cimorene, I intend to find a companion who seeks out mystery and hidden knowledge as ardently as I." Her gaze met several suitors and they froze, captivated the charm behind her eyes. Mendanbar arrived to stand beside her and gave his own appeal to the crowd,
"I am Mendanbar, I intend to find answers by searching inward. A companion who understands the art of the mind and enjoys travel will do well with me." he told them.
Together the brother and sister surveyed the mass of suitors who could potentially be their companion. Although they appeared united, neither intended to spend much time in the other's company, and both had an excited gleam in their eyes as the people began to press forward.
I love these two's design =) When I saw them and how well they complimented each other, my first thought was "yin yang". But I didn't want the typically good/bad combo (it's boring and there's not much for an adopter to do with it) so I decided on two strong personalities that both have strengths and flaws (much better for stories and woos). I considered giving them names that were the reverse of each other, but I thought that might not be fair for the adopters who may not want a name so similar to their own Ahz. (feel free to change that though) So there's my entry, about time I posted it haha. It took me 32 minutes to write, and another 3 for this random blurb =)
