I think getting the doe spayed is a much better idea, actually. In bucks a neuter doesn't provide many health benefits but for a doe, a spay can drop the instance of tumors by a LOT. That is my personal preference and I will never be getting any does without spaying first.
I had a doe make it to almost two with no mammary tumors, because of her spay. She died of aggressive cancer in her zymbal's gland, but a spay cannot prevent that type of cancer.

How much does it cost to get a female spayed? And do they become aggressive afterwards? I mean my family is pretty wealthy but my dad wouldn't want to waste money on my rat xD.

I will just feel really bad if I got Harriette spayed, she is so happy and she runs around and it would kill me to see her get . . . lazy. But boy that's cheap! My dog had to get spayed and it costed a lot more than that.

My friend in real life (her c.s username is Catdaddy~) her rat Peaches just passed away, I was with her when they went to put her down, it was so sad, she was sobbing. They had to put her down because she had an unbelievably large tumor, and I just don't want that happening to Harriette.

Tumors are so awful. I've never had to deal with mammary tumors and since I intend to spay I hopefully never will. I lost my girl recently and even before the vet checked, I could tell she had gone from me. Poor lovely. I hate cancer.
Catdaddy, I'm sorry you lost your little one, if you read this. It's so hard to say goodbye.

Cancer is horrible, and sadly it is pretty common in rats. I would never wish it on anyone, not even an enemy. I guess I could pay for it to get removed if I found it in time though, but it wouldn't be cheap.
