I helped the girl up and straightened my bag on my shoulder before disappearing into the sea of students. There were so many people here! It was almost creepy how many people there were.

I struggle to stay standing under the weight of my books. Jeez! Have I gotten smaller or have the books gotten bigger? Oh well, I continue on, carrying my books through the crowded halls . Now where is my classroom.....?

I wondered where my classroom was. My schedule hadn't said where everything was, so I guess I'd just have to find it. Quickly, I found my locker and stuffed my books in, then locked it and glanced around. It should be safe to move into the crowd in 3...2...Just then, a huge jock came and slammed me and another kid against the lockers with a metallic clang. Everyone turned towards the sound and all eyes were on us now. I gritted my teeth and stood quietly, picking up mine and the other kid's papers that had fluttered to the ground. I helped him up and handed him his stuff. He nodded gratefully, then ran off to his classroom. The jock laughed at us, breaking the silence in the hall. He pushed me against the lockers again, slightly harder this time, before walking away with his posse of two other guys. I glared after him silently.

I herd the loud plop of two kids jamming together, and quickly found the source. I saw a girl leaning against the lockers, an upset look on her face. A posse of boys were walking away laughing, and I figured that was the problem. What jerks. "Are you ok?" I ask her.

I heard someone speak to me and looked up, gently rubbing the back of my head where I'd collided with the lockers. "Yeah, thanks," I said quietly, gathering my dropped books.

I growl, set my books down and silently sneak after the jock. I stand behins him and give him a surprisingly hard shove, then snap. "What's wrong with you? Did your parents ever tell you not to hit girls, you dummy?!" I glare up at him, my eyes blazing.

The jock turned and glared at her. "Get over it," he spat before walking off with his posse.

I clench my hands into tight fists, then shout some rather... colorful curses at him and go to grab my books. Aye, it had been a while since I had gotten that mad..
