[Complicated game]

Eli came out of his room and looked across the main sitting aria. Dark. Very dark. He tried to let his eyes adjust to the darkness before he slipped out, carefully walking out, bending his knees and sucking in his gut so that someone might think he was a servant. He flinched at the sound of rocks scraping which he knew was Ms Grey. A gargoyle. He picked up his pace and walked into a hall before ducking into a closet to hide from a passing girl being lead to her room.

Sevilen jumped when the bark came. "N-no." She said, unable to tear her eyes away from the strange servant now. She didn't like the mysterious reply and pressed her lips into a thin line. She ran her hand along one of the ice walls. It wasn't cold when she didn't touch them, but they froze when she did. Odd indeed. She examined the carvings on a door that they passed. "It's vakker. Very Beautiful." She mumbled.

I watched her for a moment, letting out a quick "Sorry." for the startling bark. I didn't bother explaining.

Eli waited outside Juliets door now. It felt like every breath he took was as loud as a windstorm, even if they were normal. He held his breath and hoped to hear snoring. His ears weren't his best sense, but right then it was all he had. He could hear her sigh, the rustling of sheets. It made Eli want to sleep. He could barely hear Juliets soft breathing.

Sevilen shook her head. "It's fine." She assured her in a soft voice she gained when she was tired. She slipped into her room and took in the sights. The ice bowls that held some sort of fruit, a large empty fireplace and in the next room, a massive bed. She looked into the last room, a bathroom and used the pitcher inside and a rag to wipe dirt off her face. She found a hairbrush and pulled her hair back loosely and found a nightshift to change into. She thanked Nat before closing the door and finding her way to one side of the large bed.

Juliet finally dozed in and out of sleep, unfortunately to Eli, she never snored.

Eli shifted nervously. Alright, this was bound to happen sooner or later. He slowly and quietly as possible opened the door. No light filtered into the room. He walked in slowly, glad the carpet muffled his footsteps. He felt his way around the furniture, letting out a soft "Oof!" When he ran into a wall. He wiggled his face until it felt normal again and he touched the bed. He felt his rough hand touch Juliets arm so he moved to the other side and decided to keep to that side exclusively tonight.

I walked back to the room that I had destroyed, by the bookcase. I curled up on the chair and drifted uncomfortabley to sleep.
