Lyra smiled at everyone and patted her Sandstorm's neck as she went deep into thought. First off, what were those odd daydreams about? They freaked her out immensely. Secondly, what was going to happen when they got to Stoney Grove? She had had her whole life laid out in front of her and now... she was so unsure of everything. She didn't know what her future was going to hold, and what if... She pushed the horrid thought aside.

He nodded, "That's where we are heading as well," he began to say, his voice the quiet whisper it always is. The underbrush began to move and dust was kicked up as a thundering sound approached them. Soon a hoard of horses had sorrounded them. People were selecting horses all around him.
Luke frowned in confusion. This was not normal. "Pick a horse. You might as well come with," he said with a dismissive wave. The boy approached a horse and quickly got on it. The group was already beginning to move ahead. How boring. He yawned stiffly and pulled the horse back to the back of the group. He wanted to keep watch on anything approaching the group. Besides, Luke liked the back. Not a lot of people to bother him.

Caitlin Hope Snider

The young girl was in the middle of talking to as many people as she could at once when the sound of horses arriving, silenced her. A silent Hope is not normal, in fact it was very ware. Something that could be counted as a miracle. Her confusion sorrounded her. What is going on?
A horse approached her and Hope reached out and ran her hand along its muzzle. "Hello horsie," she whispered calmly as she touched the hourse. A large grin spread across Hope's face. "We're going on a jounrney!" she said happily as she climbed up onto the horse's back.
Hope leaned forward and had her arms draped around the horses neck. "So sleepy," she whispered as she layed her head against the fluffy mane. The gentle moving of the horse as it sped down the path rocked her to sleep. Soon Hope was fast asleep on the back of the horse.

The barely fourteen year old girl lazily lifted her head. One hand was balled into a fist as it wiped her eye tiredly. "yeah just a bit," she said through a yawn. Hope smiled, "its been a long day," she added thinking through the day. "Turned out, riding a Zella takes more energy than I had thought," Hope added with a sad dismissal shrug. Her right hand was still around the horse's neck for her balence. She was tired, but she wasn't going to fall off... yet.
