Phill just kept looking stunned, and Alex horrified. "why? Why would someone do that? Did he have a motive?" Marcas asked nobody. "I-I can't believe...she didn't tell us!" Audrey said.

"Please don't tell her I told you!" I pleaded, removing my hand from my mouth. "Even I wasn't supposed to know, but her dreams are really loud. Don't ask. Anyway. Her kidnapping has something to do with my mom and that's why I'm wanted now too. Basically the bad Black Suits are trying to exterminate my family and I. Derek tortured her from the time she turned 7 until just a couple weeks ago." My voice broke slightly at the last part. "And I never knew she existed until about a month and a half ago."

"I know how you feel, having the black suits come in and rip apart your family like that. I had two brothers. One dead, along with my parents." Alex fessed.

My eyes filled with sympathy and understanding. "I'm so sorry, Alex." Suddenly a name came to mind, completely random. Might as well try it. "Was his name...was his name Nick?"

"my brother? The one that died, yeah." Alex said. "why?"

"Because," I said slowly, my brow furrowing as I thought. "His name just popped into my mind..."

Well that was weird. How had I known Alex's dead brother's name? Just then, my mind flashed to a time when Zoey was 7, and she was playing outside. It was the day she got kidnapped. I blinked and gasped softly. I had no possible way of knowing or remembering that; I hadn't even known Zoey had existed until a few weeks ago, let alone when she saw 7. So now I was seeing into my sister's mind.
