Some pictures of my girls in the bath. .
x o x o x o
I am very aware Sadie has some balding going on ;/ I think it's just from the others over-grooming her.. but I could be very, very wrong. I should be scheduling a vet appointment for her and Spiffy (since she's super sluggish lately) very soon.
And, I'm sorry all the droppings sorta ruin the pictures aha. and and, the tub is not dirty. just very old and stained. ;c

Shadi, you have a very cute group! <3
Fairy, I don't think he looks funny. Just old. Which he is- he's ancient. He'll turn three in may. He has some arthritis (I would assume), he has mild HED, his coat has thinned, and he has low muscle mass. It's not anything I'm doing, and you can see that my other rats are in wonderful health. He's just very, very old. He's also a pet shop rat, so he has that against him as well.

Want a rat but My mom loves cats.
It doesn't matter if the two coexist in your home, I have a dog, just make sure that your rat's cage is cat-proof :)
just got back after a 3 year hiatus, don't look in my gallery or at my old forum posts to spare me some serious embarrassment

Speaking of cats and rats- I'm a bit worried for when I get my girls, because I have a cat in my room and cat that comes to my window and tries to attack my cat through the window. That's where I plan to put their cage. Should I keep my cat out of my room if I'm not in there?

Well, I don't think your cat can get into the rat cage, but your rats probably don't get a good vibe from your cat hanging around. I would just make sure your cat and rats maintain a safe distance C=

I lock my cat out of my room when I am not in here, because she tries to push my mouse cage off the hamper and get to the mouse. I also have a bird who does not need to be taunted.
However, my rats are more apt to attack her than she is them, I think. She is a bit TOO interested though so I don't trust them either.
I would suggest keeping the cat away- your rats might bite her and hurt her.
