Marica met Seto a long while ago, and became friends over a long period. She saw that Mocuba was not habing a normao childhood, and wished that she could help him. So, Seto gave her a job to watch and protect his little brother.
Mariva is skilled in marshal arts, which she learned at a young age by an old sensai who she called 'friend'. She also learned dueling from Friend, and enhareted many of her cards from him.

Personality (original only)-
Mariva has a simaler personality to Seto, but much more sencitive to others. Her deck consists of magitions and spellcasters, but she has another which holds dragons. She values them both with much love and respect than Seto does to his cards.

((Alrighty, so I take it they haven't dueled yet, and there preparing for their duels later... Maybe Mariva can face Alto! ))

Kaiba wondered into an elevator where his friend, his only friend, awaited him. Her white hair shone lightly in the dimly lit elevator. She wore a dark dress and dark sunglasses, to show that she was considered security.
"You could have dressed down, you know."
He said softly, not looking at her.
"Well, no one would take me seriously if I didn't."
She replied, glancing upwards at him. They soon reached the top floor where they stepped out into a large office area where computers and technology was everywhere. Mariva immediately took her place at a computer and began to research Rex Raptor's deck.
"It turns out that Rex Rapter has a good combo of Hores the Black Flame Dragon cards, all levels."
"Psh. I could care less what that creep has in his deck, all I care about is mine."
Kaiba said, inserting something into the computer to Mariva's back. The screen was large, and he typed in some formula and the computer calculated the best deck for him to use. He smiled when it picked his best deck which held his Blue Eyes, and other amazing and rare cards.
