I think the movies are wonderful, but as with any series, I think that the 1st movie was the best and the rest went downhill from there. I absolutely loved the first movie, the second one was okay (I hear it's the one fans dislike most, though, because of the large differences between the book and the movie) and the third one was also okay. They did a wonderful job on all of them, though - with the characters especially. For some reason I just don't like Legolas, though. In both the books and the movies.

I love the 2nd one. The 3rd one is the best though. Legolas is like he is in the book. They kept him true to his Character. I actually like him better in the movie then the book.

I know right?! Legolas is awesome. I like Gimli a lot too, because of the "comic relief" he brings to an otherwise dark series. The second one is my favorite, mainly because I found it so creepy the first time I watched it, and I love to scare myself. I just find it fun XD
