Sarah shot daggers at Eli, as obviously saying, 'No duh.' She looked back at Roxie and then slowly back at Shard, waving her tail in rudeness. She growled softly.

Roxie sighed, getting the message that Sarah was in a bad mood. She looked at Shard, wondering why he was in trouble. She flicked her ears when she heard Eli speak "I know....now" She nodded and blinked "Why is Mommy mad at Sharp?" She asked, thinking his name was Sharp instead of Shard

Eli stared at Sarah, flicking his ears back for a moment. He looked at Roxie. "A lot of reasons. Let's me and you go back home; and let them talk." He said softly. He glanced at Shard; a soft glare for Sarah, and headed for their home by the water. He kept a slow pace to Roxie wouldn't bounce around a lot.
