Origin:
Singapore
Personality:
Kira is a funny, loyal, playful girl with a childish streak a mile deep- but only with her closest friends. It takes quite some time to get there, as she is becoming increasingly mistrustful of others. On the outside, she is shy and slightly unsociable. When she is spied upon, startled and/or embarrassed, she will fiercely threaten until either she calms down or the responsible party flees.
History:
Kira was kidnapped and sold into the program. Somehow, she managed to negotiate payment for her “family” in return for not resisting. Perhaps her kidnappers were lazy and wanted less work? She grew up living with her aunt and cousin, and did decently in school until..the first part.
Family:
An aunt and a little cousin in grade school.

Trustworthy people, her family & friends, cats, freedom, art, singing, and sitting in trees.
Dislikes:
The smell of disinfectant, mosquitoes, dog crates/cages, stubborn people, (You little hypocrite, Kira!) and math.

The standard effects, better fighter, faster, etc. Kira also gained faint stripes along her spine and ears. The tiger her DNA came from was a carrier of Golden Tabby genes, so her tail’s coloration is pale.

The last thing that Nitara Vincas remembered was the dead bodies that lay around her, the blood on her hands. These people had crossed her path, but were no longer an annoyance. She put her hand in her pockets to hide the blood and walked away from the scene as if she hadn't witnessed the murder, and almost immediatley blacked out.

She was barely concious when she felt a needle pierce her skin. She attempted to get away, but she was restrained. Strapped to some table. She couldn't speak either, but she could hear what the people around her said perfectly. They seemed to be... contemplating what to graft her DNA with. Nitara frowned, confused. Her next thought was interrupted by the sharp stab of a needle. Her world began to slowly fade, her vision going blurry. She didn't want to go down without a fight, but it seemed she didn't have a choice.

She woke up somewhere in a forest of sorts. She felt... different. More powerful, more dangerous. She glanced around warily and began to remember the scientists. This was their fault, wasn't it? The skin around her eyes was a darker shade of gray, and her nails seemed to be barbed. Nitara stood up and went to the cell door. She remained silent, but inside, she was screaming obscenities at the pragaras neršti that had done this to her.

Ying was walking home from school. Thank goodness, the rest of the students had learned not to mess with her when a boy decided to cross her path and ended up severely injured. Along the way, there seemed to be a large crowd flocking around a supermarket for a sale. She scoffed at it. Undoubtedly, her mother was also in there somewhere. As she didn't like big crowds, Ying headed down an alleyway that led to her house's street but a man appeared before her out of nowhere. She thought he was just another guy from school who wanted to try her. How wrong that thinking was. Her eyes narrowed as he slowly approached her. As her focus was on the man in front of her, two men attacked her from behind and inserted a needle into her thigh. She gasped from the pain and slipped into unconsciousness. When she woke up, Ying found herself in a chamber filled with water or, at least, that's what it felt like. She didn't dare open her eyes. Her head was still spinning, and she struggle to hear what the people around her were saying as her ears were clogged with liquid.

"Let's make this interesting," a women said. "She's already got the fighting skills from what we've observed. A crow."
A male this time spoke. "No. It's already been decided what she'll be."
A person who seemed to be more experience remarked, "The girl's awoken."
"Oh fine!" the women exclaimed. "Just do it already!"

This time, not only one needle was stuck in. In fact many were. In all the places where Ying could remember vital organs being and even more. There were tubes too. So tired that she couldn't gasp this time, she faded out again. The second time she woke up, she felt considerably different than she was before and on a bed. It appeared to be harder to breath at first. She sensed her body structure to be different. Everything was so different, and it hurt. Everything hurt. That was her last thought before all the people around started examining her and poking. Prodding. POD is what they called it.

Aidan remembered very little of what had happened. He remembered being on a camping trip with his family to celebrate his sixteenth birthday. They spent their days hiking, fishing, and swimming. At night they talked and played card games. One night Aidan hadn't been able to sleep, so he went for a walk. That was the last mistake he ever made.

Once in the forest and out of sight of the tent, Aidan was jumped. He struggled and fought, but his attackers were too strong. They stuck him with a needle and he passed out promptly. He didn't stand a chance.

.......

There was fluid everywhere in the tank. Wires and tubes pierced his body, injecting him with who knows what. Fluids filled his lungs and clouded his eyes. Aidan tried to struggle, tried to get away from whatever nightmare this was, but his limbs wouldn't obey him. It seemed like years before the tank opened up and he was dumped unceremoniously onto a stretcher. He was promptly knocked out again.

He remembered very little, just snippets of voices and flashes of light. And pain. Lots of pain. Poking, prodding, more injections, and unpleasant examinations. When he regained full consciousness, he found a small bit of food waiting for him in a strange white room. He ate it ravenously and then curled up in the corner of the room trying to make sense of all this.

The light was too bright and it hurt his eyes. The air was dry and cold. He felt like he was being poisoned by the air it's self. Everything seemed foggy and far away. He heard someone talking somewhere, but he couldn't make out the words they were saying. Then he smelled something sharp and foul. The room was flooded with a strange gas and he was knocked out yet again.

.......

The third time he regained consciousness, Aidan was afraid that he'd be back in that awful lab, or what ever it was. Instead he found himself lying on what felt like grass. The needles and tubes were gone and he smelled nothing but fresh air. He opened his eyes and blinked against the bright light. He sat up slowly and looked around him. He looked behind him and was met with a most welcome sight.

Behind him was a large blue lake, surrounded by fern-like trees on all sides. He licked his lips and got to his feet. He took a few shaky steps. The land felt foreign under his bare feet. He broke into a clumsy run and dived into the water. It felt cool against his skin and he breathed a sigh of relief. He had loved water to begin with, but never had it felt this good.

He dived under the surface and opened his eyes. He was surprised when his eyes didn't burn. Everything was much more clear that it normally was. He began to swim deeper, surprised by how fast and easily he was able to maneuver. Then he took in a lung full of water and started to panic. He expected to drown, to be sucked into the blackness, but that was not the case. He felt perfectly fine, except for the unpleasant feeling of water in his lungs. He exhaled and the water rushed out.
I can breath underwater? he thought, How strange.

Kora remembered some of what happened, she had been walking through the bushland on the edge of her twin sister's adopted parents' farm, looking for a couple of sheep that had gone missing.
The last thing she remembered was seeing a boy her sister kind of had a crush on, then a sharp pain as he pushed a needle into her leg and injected something into her veins, before the world went dark.

Kora remembered being waking up, and being strapped to a table, she was paralyzed, by both her fear and some unknown drug. She remembered little about what the scientists around her were talking about. she remembered something about her DNA, mutation, animal and Tiger, before she was injected with another needle and the world went black again.

When she woke, Kora found that everything hurt, "It's like having the flu, but worse" She mumbled to herself, as she sat up and looked around. "Where am i?" she said to herself as she looked around. This was certainly not home.
"Tree ferns" She said, looking up with a child-like smile and at least recognizing that, but these ferns were taller than Kora had ever seen tree ferns growing.

Mutation - Dove

Her dream was of the ocean. The waves were black and they churned with such power that each wave sent a shower of water onto the beach. Calla stood on shore, just at the water line and the cold liquid lapped hungrily at her feet. Even the sky seemed to mirror the ocean with huge dark fluffy clouds that rolled.

A storm was approaching and even the wind seemed to pick up with Calla's thought. She loved the ocean but staying down on the beach during a storm was a sure way to die. She tried to move her feet but the wet sand seemed to suck her feet firmly in place. The more Calla struggled, the more stuck she became.

The water began to rise, slowly creeping up Calla's body and making her shiver. There was nothing Calla could do. She could not move and she couldn't tell if she was dreaming or not with the sound of storm. It looked and sounded so real that it seemed real. Then, everything became silence. Thunder no longer crackled over head and she could not her the waves crash against each other.

Slowly the water crept over her head and she disappeared into the mass of the ocean. The ocean that she loved. Calla closed her eyes as the cold water engulfed her and her breath was taken away. At least the ocean had taken her, the ocean that she loved.

    ~ ~ ~

Calla gasped and choked as if her lungs were filled with water. The sunlight hurt her eyes once she opened them and instantly a pounding began in her head. Where am I? Were her first thoughts. She was able to look around in a while, once her eyes had got adjusted to the bright artificial light.

She could not remember anything, but she knew that she had never been here before. It was forest and she lay under a tree where the grass gently stroked her skin as the wind blew. Very slowly Calla pulled herself up into a sitting position even though her whole body protested. Where am I? She asked herself again, not remembering anything from before at all. She could only recoil back to when she had been mucking the stalls, then after that, as she tried to remember her head throbbed as if someone had hit her with a stone.

Calla sighed, letting her head fall into her hands. Sure she had had headaches before, but nothing this bad. After that passed, Cal used the tree next to her as a support. She didn't know if trying to stand was a good idea but she really wanted find out where she was and what she was doing here.

As she rose on wobbly feet her forehead knotted. From her lap a beautiful white feather gently floated down to the earth. The feather was stark against the solid green grass and Calla wondered where it had come from. It was rather large feather and Calla could not think of a bird that would have been so large and white.

Calla rolled her eyes, wondering why she was worrying about a some feather. She probably couldn't think of what bird it from because her head started pounding with pain again. Cal rubbed her head again, this time gently twirling a strand of her hair between her fingers. Calla's eyes widened slightly, why did her hair seemed lighter? Was her hair not darker blond before or was her mind playing tricks on her? But now it seemed almost white with a slight blond hue.

Calla was defiantly confused now and her confusion only grew when she discovered where the feather had come from.

    Her wings.

After Ying was put up against some things that seemed to be holograms and given some food that she devoured on sight, unconsciousness came to her again. She woke up in the middle of what she decided to call a fern-forest. All around her were large ferns after all. The sky was barely in sight, enough to tell that it was daytime. She couldn't hear much besides the occasional rustling of bushes. All there was to smell was fresh air. Not knowing where this was bothered her a bit, but that didn't matter. She has been in situations like this before where she was dumped somewhere as a prank. Is this a prank?

The last thing she remembered was being in the alley near the bookstore and facing three men who she thought were from her school. One man had stuck something sharp like a needle into her as if giving Ying a shot. Usually, the kids from school didn't inject needles into her, but, either way, she needed to find out what and who was around her. She liked the surroundings to be familiar. Crouched down low on all fours, she headed to the right then paused. When did I start walking on all fours?

Ying immediately stood up and felt something twitch. It was an unrecognized feeling to the girl, and she peeked behind her. A tail...a tail? What is going on here? It looked like a tiger's tail. She tried to control it and swing it to the left then right. The tail moved. Shock did not grip her so much as amazement. Still, there was the fact that it was orange (a color she severely disliked). Not that there was much to do about it. This situation wasn't something she could change easily.

Name:
Bells Anna Wintere

Gender:
Female

Age:
16 years old

Origin:
Rome

Personality:
Bells is one of those honey sweet girls, though she's shy. She's like one of those small town goddesses, being pure and innocent in a way most people don't understand. Once you get to know her, she opens and becomes who she really is: A fun loving happy girl with a great personality. Usually you just have to know Bell to understand her as well. Although, one thing you have to know is she has a mean temper. If you hurt her friends, or push her around she won't be afraid to give some to you even though she is thin, and a bit goth with her clothing style she is not afraid of anyone. She can be sweet, but you just need to watch out.

History:
She was born in the hot place of Florida with her mother and father. She never really was known there as the popular kid, so she mostly stayed away form others just because of her shy personality. Normally it stayed liek that over the years till she went to highschool, which then turned her to becoming a more outgoing type of girl people knew her as. She was living fine till the day she was kidnapped from her home to end up here inside a lab. Somehow, she wishes to return home to Florida to live there again, but for now she must escape here if she ever can again.

Family:
I can't remember much of them anymore. I prefer to keep to myself on this one. Used to have Mother Father, and was a single child. Mother: Anna Wintere and Father: Cash Wintere.

Aidan resurfaced and took in a deep breath of air. He coughed a little, still not used to the feeling of water in his lungs. He sunk down below the surface of the water so just his eyes and the top of his head stuck out. He scanned the lake shore for signs of life. He swore he'd heard something...somewhere.

He dived below the surface again and swam closer to the shore. He poked his head above the water again and scanned the strange trees again and noticed movement in them. He couldn't see who was out there very well though. He was suddenly a little scared. Was it those awful people who had dumped him here? Or was it an animal of some kind?

He swam just a bit closer until his feet just touched the mucky lake bed. He kept his head except for his eyes submerged and waited to see what was out there. He shifted his feet nervously and one foot sunk into the thick mud on the lake bed. He cursed softly and struggled to free his foot. It came free with a soft sucking noise and it threw Aidan off balance. He fell back with a splash into the lake.

Scientist or Test subject?:
Test Subject.
Name:
Clyde Nett
Gender:
Male
Age:
17
Origin:
America
Personality:
Clyde is sharp-witted and observant, noticing little things that most people miss. He doesn't talk a whole lot and likes to wander off alone. He can only take so much time around other people before he has to get away. He is not, nor ever has been, particularly fast or strong. But, when he wants to, he has a silver tongue and can use that to get himself out of a fight he would have lost. He's also a good liar, but only lies when it'll get him out of a tough spot. He keeps most thoughts to himself, isn't one to say stupid things. He has a terrible sense of direction and a tenancy to end up lost, his curiosity often getting the better of him. Luckily, he's not to bad at escaping trouble if he happens to run into it.
History:
Clyde was the the youngest son of the Nett's- a small family with few kin. They lived in northern Florida, in a small town that barely made its name on the map. His brother was three years older than him and off in college. The two had never gotten along very well and each made an effort to avoid the other. His parents worked a lot, especially his dad. His mom, however, was home more often. She'd watch him paint or play the piano, two talents he was halfway decent at. One day his dad came home and announced he'd received a promotion and they were moving to Jacksonville, a city not to far away. But a few days after they'd begun packing, Clyde disappeared. The scientists had come and taken him. He doesn't remember very much from the time in the labs, only a few random feelings and images.
Family:
Mother; Ariana Nett. Father; Jay Nett. Brother; Lance Nett.
Likes:
The forest, paint, being up high, trees, dawn and dusk, soft music, water, fishing, finding interesting objects or creatures, reading.
Dislikes:
Being trapped, midday/midnight, butterflies, fluttery people, hot weather, forgetting things, having to fight.
Mutation:
Pigeon.
Effects:
Wings/Memory/Sight/Agility.
Sexuality:
Straight.
Pets:
A bluejay likes to tag along with him where ever he goes. He's named it Train.
