Willowtail pushes again, another kit, another still-born.

crowfrost: "Not just me." he murmurs through a sigh. looking down he noticed the mark of darknight on the first little tom. "The first tom will be lightningkit, the little she-cat can be.... maybe rosekit? you name the last one." he purred.

bramblethorn: taking a deep breath, he emerged into the den, gently arousing the kits. "The older ones can walk. its not that far. you will carry two kits and i will carry the other three." he leaned down and picked up the tiny bundles.

I smile but my smile disappears faintly then I look at the little brown tom."Barkkit?" I ask as I look up at my mate and the only cat i'll ever love.
Mouse
I nod and nudge the rest of my sleeping kits awake.I grab Duck and Boulder.I place Lion and Aspen on my back.I walk out and look at Brambelthorn."So you have Mud,Blaze,Mint,and Sage?"
Thistle,Thorn,Maple,Minnow,Owl,Rat,and Flood
We all follow out after our mother looking back at Brambelthorn ever so often.

Willowtail looks at her third kit for a moment, yet another still-born.

I watch sadly but keep telling Willowtail."Keep going! You can do it!"

Willowtail pushes again, but the 4th kit doesnt live to take a breath.

He/She (gender still being determined, what do you think the kit's gender should be?...) squirmed as they felt their mother leave. The kit suddenly felt a cat in the den, though no live cat was there... Riverdusk was there in spirit, he was going to be with his kits even through death.
