April and Jenny had been walking for some pretty long time, concealed by some bushes. Suddenly April looked up in surprised. She pricked up her ears to confirm what she thought. "Dogs. At least three. Stay by my side Jenny." But Jenny was already wagging her tail with joy, not listening to her mother. "Really?! Other dogs?! Maybe they want to play!" April tried to warn Jenny by saying, "I don't know. They could be hostile. Don't go- Jenny!!!" She shouted out as her pup bounded out of the bushes excitedly. April rushd after Jenny when she saw her bump full force into an adult German Shepherd that was being flanked by a Dalmatian. She grabbed Jenny's srcuff and pulled her back next to her, then crouched down. April started apologizing as quick as possible, hoping neither dog would attack. "Oh please, oh please, forgive my daughter," begged April in her crouched position. "She's young and eager. She doesn't know what she's doing. Forgive me too, I should have controlled her."

Az: He chuckled softly. "It's plenty fine. Don't worry." He wasn't threatened at all and seemed to like seeing the pup.

Emmy: She smiled down at the young pup, it had been a while since she had seen any life. "Well, hello there."

Jenny wagged her tail excitedly when she saw the dogs were nice, and April let out a sigh of relief as she went back to a normal standing position. Jenny started introducing herself by saying, "Hi! I'm Jenny, and this is my mommy! Do you like to play? I love playing, but I can't play as much since my brother..." Jenny stopped short as she remembered what had happened just a few months ago. Her tail stopped wagging, she stared at the ground, and let out a little whimper. April had a feeling the dogs might wonder why Jenny had stop so abruptly, so she finished what she was saying. "My mate had taken Cody hunting, but Jenny stayed with me because of a cold. All of a sudden it started raining, and raining a lot. I managed to get Jenny and I to higher ground. When the flood subsided we went back to see what we found. And, under a pile of rubbish..." April stopped for a moment to take a deep, shuddering breath. "We found my mate,and he... He was dead. We looked and looked everywhere, but... We never found Cody."

Emmy: She frowns softly, "Awe..." She nuzzled the pup in a tender way. "Well... I'm sorry..." She looked up at April. "I'm sooo sorry."

Az: A flicker of pain danced around Az's eyes as he remembered something of his past and he looked down, taking in a deep sigh.

Marian howl again and dogs that had already been informed by the guards were heading towards her. Dozer bumped into April and the others and he growled "Haven't you heard? The queen has summoned us!" Then he ran off.

April looked at Emmy and said, "It's... It's okay. We still have a bit of hope that Cody is still alive." Then she ran after Jenny, who was excitedly following Dozer, although April had warned Jenny about following strangers.

Glorian quickly chased after Dozer, not wanting to annoy Marian. Jake followed and managed to catch up to Glorian. "Hey," puffed as he ran beside her. "My name's Jake." "Pleased to meet you Jake. My name is-" Glorian stopped short when she noticed she was talking to a mutt. All the dogs she had ever met were pure bred, and she had started to think of mutts as a myth. She remembered it was rude to stare or leave sentences unfinished, so she said, "My name is Glorian," and she pulled ahead, desperately hoping that being near a mutt didn't turn you into one.

Emmy: She continued to follow Dozer. She sighed softly and walked next to her friend.

Az: He walked in silence next to Emmy.

Lyon growled softly annoyed by all the noise. He pinned his ears against his head and circled around on the pillow then laid back down.
