That night, I got a text message from Amanda. "Y did u sit wth those lsrs? I huffed and stuffed my cell phone the bottom drawer of my dresser. The next day, every popular girl was ignoring me. The boys weren't really clued in to what was going on, I think. The only one ignoring me was my ex boyfriend (of course) and Amanda's boyfriend. Oh yeah, Brian was ignoring me too, but what's new? I rolled my eyes at Amanda and went to the library with Elizabeth and some other people Amanda classified as "losers." There was Elizabeth, Damian, Brian, Izzy, and Jessa. Izzy and Jessa stared when I walked in and sat with them. Brian and Damian kept talking without a glance in my direction. Typical.

I sat with them at lunch again. Pure bliss. When I sit at the 'popular' table, I feel like I have to keep up my image 24/7. But when I sit with Elizabeth, everything feels totally normal. Amanda and them are being snots, but I don't care. The only thing that bothers me is that Brian ignores me. Damian doesn't ignore me anymore (he's actually quite funny), but Brian still does.
