A good slap in the face. This is what I needed.
Too many of us count only the bad things, and though it's only natural we feel alone, sad, afraid, scared, we feel like there's nothing good and that we can't do anything about it...well that's simply not true, we can do something about it, we can keep trying because it does get better- as long as you try. It's hard to pull yourself out of the abyss once you're there, but it's not impossible.

No, you are not considered the most rare or valuable, but it's who you are, your story, that's shows how special you will always be. Jade.

Although I love the picture, I need to point something out.
You said you see a lot of sad kids around here and that they're sad for nothing - don't say that.
My best friend committed suicide in October and yes, I was feeling quite sad and shared my feelings here. I don't consider that feeling sad for nothing.
I'm not trying to sound mean, it's just a little insensitive to tell people they are sad for nothing because you never know the reason behind the sadness until you ask.

I don't think Uo meant it to sound like that.
There are a lot of reasons for people to be depressed, and that's only natural, but I think what she meant is that there are a bunch of people who don't try to pull themselves out of the abyss and they just make life harder for themselves and complain about it for no reason when they could pull themselves together and keep moving on.
It's only natural for somebody to feel depressed, especially if it's something like a friend committing suicide, but there are too many people who refuse get over how tough it can be and continue to wallow in their sorrow when it is possible to move on.

@Sillywolf: Yeah, I realize they didn't mean it like that. I probably didn't sound as nice as I wanted to either :3 Understandably, I'm very sensitive to topics like this now. Just wanted to put my thoughts out there! No offense meant by it, and I do agree that there are some people who just complain and feel sorry for themselves.

And I really do love this picture dude, I have a soft spots for cats <3

The moment I read that message I cried, I really did. That was the night I had been so brutally discluded from my favorite thing I could ever think of. It was the first time I had really been dealing with that amount of depress. As soon as I put the stamp in my signature I remembered your message. I think it will always stay with me from now on. <3

Great job by the way. :3

I'm putting this in my siggy. I love the picture and love the idea. I've noticed that too with people having dark stamps or quotes in their sigs and I never understood it. It's a lie to say people can be happy all the time. Sometimes life brings you down and after a brief period, you move on. Wallowing in despair and self pity get you nowhere. Thank you so much for finally stepping up to say something.
