Formosa glanced down at her glowing hands with a glare before looking back up at Natalia. "If you say so," she said, her voice full of disgust. "And don't worry about the number of people. They're all nice." She made sure to change the subject daftly so she wouldn't have to talk about it. She noticed the strain in Elizabeth's voice when she spoke, and she glanced down at her friend this time. "You alright?" She asked, concerned. She sat back down next to her, trying her hardest to keep her hands off of Elizabeth. "Natalia didn't mean to do anything I'm sure." Oh. She sucked at comforting. Her specialty was happiness. If she could make someone laugh, she would. When it came to reassuring things, however. Just, no.

|Elizabeth Jordan "Liz"|

She shook her head rapidly, raising her index finger of her right hand for a silent, 'Hold on'. After a few second, Elizabeth removed the hand over her mouth and wiped it on her pants leg. Her eyes opened and were filled with unspilling tears. "I'm fine," Her voice was tight, and full of her pain. The wrist hurt, terribly bad, but it wasn't bleeding which meant her power was at least holding back and controling itself. Sometimes it healed a wound, just to reopen it later.

Elizabeth softly rubbed the spot and looked over at Formosa, sure her pain was clear as day by now. "Sorry, my power has a few down-falls." Her voice was still hoarse and tight, but more relaxed and controlled. She was no doubt in tones of pain, but slowly by slowly she was getting use to it. She was already use to the bright red, sunkissed mark around her wrist that would probably stay for about a week, week and a half at most.

Clearing her head of all thoughts, Liz swallowed and tentatively pulled her legs up to loosely hug them with her good arm. It hurt, and was probably the worst pain she'd ever had in a long while, not even Shawn's ice daggers had hurt this bad after the fight. She sniffled softly and avoided their eyes, and tried to ignore Formosa, though she was so close it was hard to. Wanting to tell her about the wrist, Liz tried but couldn't form the words, it was too hard.

Formosa's heart sank when she saw how bad Elizabeth was hurting. "It's my fault, isn't it?" She asked, knowing that her pain was most likely from where Formosa had grabbed her. "I'm so sorry." She said, her eyes filling with tears. All her power ever caused was hurt and destruction. She leaned forward carefully, forcing the bright light in her hands to go somewhere near her feet. "I- I hope it gets better soon." She commented before leaning down completely and hugging Elizabeth. She leaned her head against her friend's shoulder and tried not to cry while making sure to keep the light out of the way so she wouldn't burn Liz even more.

Collared, chained in this place...

Austin started to walk away from the door to the lab building slowly. He didn't want to have his back turned if anything/one just happened to shot at him. On that note he pivoted on his right foot in a circular motion to check behind him. Nothing much was behind/ in front of the lab building. Only a forest that could be harboring all sorts of nasty experiments gone wrong that the scientists "threw away". At least that's what Austin envisioned that lay within. He walked towards it. Maybe under all it would be the one place without camera's every three feet. He ducked under some branches at the edge of the forest as he entered it. He squinted around, it smelled weird in there. At least it smelled different from what he was used to. The soapy, "sanitary" smell of the lab. There were noises to. Like whispers all around. It could have just been the wind, but growing up in a lab with painful experiments every other day has made him a little paranoid. He jumped when he heard a roar. He ran forward putting his back to a tree. Loud roars like the one he just heard were usually a bad thing. Out there in the forest, in the middle of no where it could have been anything. A random animal boasting about how big it was compared to another one. Something dieing in pain calling out for help only to die as soon as you arrive with help. What ever it was Austin's ADHD infused curiosity got the best of him and he peeked around the edge of the tree that he had his back to. Of course there was nothing there the sound had came from a little while off.

He scanned the trees around looking for movement. He saw some and walked towards it. He had his head down but his eyes and ears were open. when he got to the place he certainly heard the heavy breathing of something. He knelt by a tree and looked on curiously. Poking his head out from the hiding place he saw it, it was a bear. He only knew what those were from the children's books a lady scientist had once given him. Only a few days later it was ripped away and he never saw that lady again. Shaking his head as his mind wondered he looked at the bear a slight smile forming. It was beautiful. By the way, Austin loves animals. Their just... not human, and that's just beautiful. His smile disappeared when he noticed the girl. Was the bear, trying to eat her? His lip curled as the thought ran pass his mind. That's just nasty? Why do animals think people would taste good? He shook his head again. His ADHD was running rampid out here. He stepped from out from behind the tree, "Hey beautiful. Pick on someone your own size." He opened his arms out wide as if getting ready for a bear hug. He thought about what he said. He realizing that was real cheesy. He rethought that again, 'Oh, yeah. that's why I'm so hilarious!'

(xD, I was semi-literate enough? I really do try ...)

Natalia lifted her own hand and called in her mind for fire to come to her. "This, is what I can do..." She hoped there wouldn't be a heavy price for using her power again so soon. She let the fire glow for a few moments, then reluctantly it burned out. In her mind she spoke to her powers, I must now accept my punishment.

An angry red line appeared down her forearm and Natalia squeaked in pain. Her power was obviously not excited about being used again so soon. Strange how it had a mind of its own. The new scratch began to bleed profusely. Natalia cursed silently and wiped some of the blood away, embarrased. "I am sorry," she said. "It's...it's the price for my power."

Coraline

"Pain can either be fought or to give in. I picked giving in."

Coraline opened her orbitals to stil see the bear above her her voice itching to scream out, but due to her not wanting to get him hurt as well with her blast she kept quiet from speak just so she could not risk a blast. Her eyes traveled to him to examine him with detail. He was a boy about her age with dark brown hair as well as looking at the bear with a smile as if it was just a puppy to the max. Her eyes widen as it roared at him raising a paw off her left arm to free it, but as soon as she tryed to get away once more her right was still stuck crushing the arm with the weight. The pain was like fire rushing into her system now as if she was burning, and without a boy she might have screamed from the pain even then. Her eyes looked up at him her gaze sort from the bears two legs blocking most of her view of the boy, as well as the tree's truck that was brown like the bears thick fur lingering over her body.
The bear suddenly moved her eyes turning upward to see a snarl on its lips as well as some drool come from the gums of the bear easy to see it was ready to take down the problem with little effort. With a slight growl it rose its paw above to ground ready if the boy made a move at itself.
Cora looked over at him again, but she did nothing of the sort to try to free herself this time to help. The pain was speeding into her body like slowly shutting her down by the soft snapping of the bones now with the weight, and she was glad to feel the pain slowly dry out inside her. Her eyes flickered for a moment before a few images of the lab flashed into her mind of the pain, the heartbreak, her friends she made back there not remembering names although faces mostly. Some soft sweet ready to give a life for a friend, others playful happy once free, and others she forgot. They flashed into her mind as her head layed down on the grass below her her arm relaxing from the bear even though inside her ears another growl came though.
She rested her mind drifting to a black hole of nothing, where the pain was gone.
