Shadow looked at the darkening sky then sighed as wind rushed through her fur.She turned around again and yawned again.

Shadow didn't bother getting up to go to her den and just rested her head against the soft earthy ground, slowly closing her eyes again this time falling into a deeper sleep.

Nightpaws took the elk she killed back to camp and ate some. While eating, she scented Hunter. Now what does he want? she wondered. She heard him say that we needed protecting from him. "Why, that little booger! I'll protect myself, I will, mblmnble...(unintelligible mumblings)"
