just then his adopted son tigerkit ran into the nursery from playing outside with one of the apps. and lept on firestar's back

I laugh softly. "What do you mean?" I ask softly

firestar mewed "well if your mate was still alive he could have helped you take care of them"

tigerkit pocked his head up over firestar's shoulder

"Yeah" I meow softly, thinking of my old mate.

firestar mewed "and you might need some one to replace him...."

tigerkit jumped off of firestar's back and landed in front of forestkit crouching down

tigerkit growled playfully and batted at the other kit's head

phoenixkit blinked open his eyes forestkit's squeak waking him

firestar smiled flicking his tail nervously not sure how to continue, he was a good leader but he was horrible whn it came to looking for a mate

"Firestar, will you be Lightstone's replacement?" I purr in amusement. (Aspenkit is actually Lightkit...*meh failed* lol)

I bat back at Tigerkit. My emrald eye warm and happy.
