Hesitantly Myra pushed herself over so she was sitting beside Drake, though her gaze had returned to the ground.

Well, I gotta go to bed. Drat, and at the good part too! Night<3))

Drake smiled a little wider when she moved closer to him, and he felt his cheeks flare up in color. He wanted to put an arm around her, but he didn't want to make her feel uncomfortable.

Myra continued to gaze at the ground for a moment before she glanced up at Drake, smiling softly at him.

Drake met her gaze, returning the soft smile, and blinking after a few seconds.

Myra laughed nervously, lowering her gaze to the floor again.

Drake smiled, gently moving his hand back onto his shirt, playing with the ends of it nervously again.

Myra silently wrapped her hand around the one Drake was using to play with his shirt. She smiled softly at him again.

Drake felt her hand touch his, and he glanced down at the two hands, and smiled over at her, his cheeks turning a light shade of pink again. He returned the smiled, and stopped playing with his shirt.

Drake chuckled softly with her, his heart still pounding. He was praying she didn't hear it, but a small part of him was at the same time.
