Vivian

She jumped off, landing besides Silex. "What's going on?" she cried.

This had never happened before. Why now? She didn't understand it. But she knew she wouldn't let it get Silex.

She snarled, crouching low to the ground. This thing was going to die, and die soon.

Silex

Silex shook his head as he leapt back towards the beast, attempting to grab it round the neck. "I'm not sure!" he replied as he failed, and tried again, "But it's got to die!"

She let out anotther snarl. "Got it," she said, then ran around to the back of it.

She bit on of its legs and pulled ,throwing the animal to it's side. It let out a yell, and kicked at her. She jumped out of the way, then tried to think of how to get to it's throat.

Silex

"What...are...you...?" he growled under his breath at the strange deer.
Suddenly a thought struck him. "Vivian!" he cried, scratching at it furiously, "You don't think perhaps this is...Fell's doing?" he asked hesitantly.

[zima.]

She stopped, sudenly. Everything seemed to freeze as she registered what Silex was saying.

"Yes, it could be," she said. She lunged at the deer's throat, barely missing, because her mind was distracted.

Was Fell truly trying to kill her?

Silex

Silex advanced again at the deer before jumping towards it, and managing to get his jaws around the base of it's neck. He gave a low growl. "We're not giving in, creature. So why don't you?"

Vivian

The creature kicked out, its struggle only killing it further. It glared into Silex's eyes, a murderous look on its face.

It gave a great shudder, then lay still.

Vivian looked around, seeing the rest of the deer had gone. She walked over to Silex, looking at the dead deer with disgust.

"I've never seen anything like it," she told him. "A black deer? And one so bold? It's unheard of," She shook her head. "What should we do with it?"

"Alright," he said, still smiling. He padded slowly into the forest. As Kasi caught up, he smiled. "If you`re as bad at making decisions as you appear to be, how is it that you came to be alpha?" he asked, looking over at her.

Sari
She smiled and leaped out into the fog, which quickly blocked her from sight. She looked around, not that it did her much good, and walked back to where Jard still stood under the tree. She stuck her head in and called, "Come on! This is pretty fun."
