Dear Nincompoop,

I am alive. Just. You don't know how many lectures I've been through from Mum and Dad. I've been left creeped out.
Aunt Cheesecake is having a baby.
Apparently, what I did have left her and her baby in "emotional turmoil" and that the child could be all depressing.
It's. Not. My. Fault. It was Mycroft's. If he didn't slap me, then none of this would have happened.
Anyway, Dad said that I've ruined his relationship, but he's gone out with her now. They've been HOURS. I'm secretly hoping that he's moved in with her, and then we won't need to see either of them again.
Watson agrees. He's a lucky duck, since Mum told him to lie on the couch so he can heal. Lying on couches isn't the way to heal a sprained wrist. But still, he gets full control of the TV. And whatever food he wants.
He gets microwave meals, we get Miso soup. Not fair.
I wonder how you sprain something without getting crushed. It sounds good.
Angie and Diesel have just come round, and, yeah...
I'm going downstairs.

Later...

Oh. My. Fudgerdoodles.
Basically, Diesel brought his guitar round so he could play it for Watson. (Yeah... Weird. But Watson likes the sound)
And he's strumming away, and Angie starts banging on the coffee table with two pencils.
So then I randomly start clapping my hands, because Diesel tells me too.
And the next thing we know, us four are blasting out "Hurts Like Heaven"
Angie on percussion, Diesel on guitar, Watson singing, and me clapping away like I'm an extremely happy idiot.
And the windows were open.
So this dude's walks past, and then stops. And he comes up to the door.
Dad lets him in, and all of a sudden, there's this entire "Hi I'm a record producer, and I want to sign the band in your living room."
What? Angie has no musical talent whatsoever. She got 4% in the Music Exam at the end of last year.
*cough*I got 97%, if you want to know.*cough*
And Diesel can't sing. And my musical talents only stretch to Classical, or Ballads at a push.
And Watson... He's alright. Not amazing, but an all-rounder.
But this guy says, "Greetings. My name is Bowie."
This is Bowie.

Us four just stare at him, but he continues.
"I think you have potential, as a rival to Coldplay. So I want to sign you up."
I utterly refuse to rival Coldplay, since...

Angie, Diesel and Watson agree, and we're about to say "No" when Mum buts in, and yaks on about how she thinks we should, since it will be great for us, plus the household will get money. And we'll have careers.
But I want to be a detective, Watson wants to be a doctor and Angie wants to do an Art/History degree, and then see where that will take her.
And as for Diesel... I think he wants to be a astronomer. Or an Astrologer. He can't decide whether he wants to discover more about space, or to write a lot of hippy drivel in newspapers on how all Capricorns should wear blue this week.
So then Bowie signs us up. Which now officially means that I'm going to be a rockstar.
I don't want to do this. Help. And we've got to meet him tomorrow.

Dear Nincompoop,

Ohmigosh Omigosh Ohmigosh....
You'll never guess who we saw.
COLDPLAY!
We were at the recording place for this meeting with Bowie, and we saw them.
I even got the chance to take a picture of them.

We even got to talk to them. And I'm not normally like this, which is strange. But they were down to earth, and not stuck-up or anything.
"Hey, guys." Chris said, totally cool. "So, are you the new group who Bowie's been going on about?"
"Yeah, we got signed yesterday." Angie replied, totally cool and composed. "It's nice to meet you. I think you guys are really talented."
"Ah, thanks." Will replied. "I like it when our fans say such nice things."
Even Diesel got chatting to Jonny about guitar techniques. I was just standing there, trying to stay calm, but I hate to admit this, but I suddenly yelled, "I LOVE YOU GUYS SO MUCH! CAN I HAVE YOUR AUTOGRAPH?"
They laughed, and then signed a scrap of paper in my pocket. I was yakking on about how amazing they were, and I know I shouldn't have, because they must hate people doing it.
They then signed Watson's bandage for him, even though it's a cotton one which Must Not Be Signed Whatsoever Because Otherwise It Cannot Be Reused. I wouldn't want to use a second hand bandage, but like I said, my family are nutcases.
But then, it turns out that Bowie's been trying to promote us so we can be bigger than them. Chris told us "Bowie said that you did a cover of one of our songs, and it was actually better than us."
Angie just said that we weren't, and they smiled and said bye then they walked off to get a Starbucks.
The one moment when I meet my favorite band... I wreck it.
Great.

We then had to have a meeting with Bowie, about our band name, and our identity.
Band name. It hadn't occurred to us. He wanted us to be called Watson & the Misfits, but that's just a stupid name.
And then, after about two hours, we had a name. I didn't decide it. It was Bowie, who wanted to go into the Misfit aisle.
Wolfhound.
So, I can now say I am in a band called "Wolfhound" because we are a bunch of misfits in society.
Wolfhounds aren't misfits. They're awesome.
But still, Bowie didn't care. He said that we're going to aim for the same audience as Coldplay.
But... I don't know what their audience is. Nobody does.
So, after much thought about how we should introduce ourselves to the public, we went home.

Immediately, Mum and Dad went yakking on about how amazing it was, blah blah blah, that we would be touring the world one day. And that they'd come with us, so we don't get lonely.
In other words, they want to use any fame we get to go on holiday for free.
Great.
Anyway, Nincompoop, I better go and sleep. I've got school tomorrow, and I need to find a way to tell this Bowie that I don't want to be a rockstar.

I can't believe how successful this has been. People have read it, somebody's based a journal off this and I managed to involve Coldplay!
As with regards to your improvement... You shall have to wait and see.
