I am not sure whether it's an archive error or not, but I don't exactly know where to post that.

Is there any difference between these two ratties?

It's not really a mistake, I think these posts might shed some light on the matter:

It was just re-released in December, not like 18th pets though, it was a normal release. :]

But people who have complete collections have both ratties or they are practically the same pet to have?

Another thing I found;

I cannot find this girl and her littermates in the archive. As you can see, I adopted her in March 2009, and considering that her release date must be the same as or earlier than the adoption one (unless I posess the ability to travel through time, which is news to me ) and later than December 2008 (because she's the daughter of two advent dogs of that year) these 2nd gens must have been put for adoption between January and March '09. I've searched in all possible places - even in '2008' - but to no avail. Or have I gone blind? D8

That's right, but what? I am confused. Were they released before their parents? Time-travelling puppies? Could someone please explain that? .-.

The parents were originally released before July (those advents are also called pre-julies), before there were accounts to put the pets on. :3
Or that's how I think it is, at least. ^^;

Regarding the adoption date:

Pets in the archive are listed by their original release date. Those butterfly wolves were up for adoption for about a year, but they are listed in the month/year they were first released.

This applies to BFWs, Tess Horses, Warrior Cats and 2nd Gen Dogs that were available in 08 and 09.

These pets are mostly in August 08 I think.

Regarding the parents, that's correct - the 08 Advents were originally released in April, May and June, before pets were account-bound.

Is this normal? It was on my wishlist.
