Fawnstream looked into the med-cat den, her eyes misted a bit. She looked around, she blinked a bit.

Ashen was still hunting a bit.

"Can I help you, Fawnstream?" Sparrowthorn asked, looking up from Feathermist.

" No." she mewed quickly. Fawnstream looked at her paws, then out of camp." Sparrowthorn why dont you like that loner um...Ashen?
i mean he's not a bad cat at heart, he may seem hostile, but he really isnt if you get to know him well. Like Grizzlyheart she said so, but i think she likes Ashen." she mewed quickly, with her eyes lowering a bit, has she felt her pelt bristle.

Riverpaw sighed in boredom, white paws anxiously tearing up the ground beneath him. His crystal blue eyes stared up at the clouds, moving occassionally as if trying to recieve something. Talk made his head swivel around, ears pricked. Through the wall of brambles the young tom heard Sparrowthorn and Fawnstream mewing about something. Curious, riverpaw's nose twitched and he tuned in quietly.

Thymefoot's pearly green eyes watched the trees wave blissfully, tail tip twitching. Snowpaw and Minowpaw talking brought her back to reality though she made no move to intercept them.

" That should do it." mewed ashen in silent relief. His paws ached, from chasing mice, rabbits, and squrriels. He picked up the rabbit, and mouse carried back to camp onto the freshkill pile. He right back out again, Fawnstream looked to watch Ashen pad out and in again from camp. " What is he doing?" she mewed out loud.

"I don't like him because he did THIS to me." Sparrowthorn growled irritably, flicking his tail towards his face. "And how would you know? He's only been in camp for a day."

Snowpaw looked up at Thymefoot. "Oh, hi!" He said, seeing that Minnowpaw seemed to have fallen asleep on her paws. "Come on over, talk to us!" He encouraged the warrior.

Thymefoot gave a half-hearted, shy smile and got to her paws, trotting over quietly with tail waving. She sat down a few mouse-lengths away from Snowpaw and curled her tail around her paws. "So what are we talking about?"

Riverpaw's eyebrows furrowed in puzzlement as he listened to the two talk and he crouched down quietly, praying to Starclan that he wouldn't be noticed.

"Just apprenticeship. Do you have any stories from when you were an apprentice?" He asked eagerly.

Thymefoot thought for a moment, trying to conjour up a good story. "When I was first apprenticed and I went out with my mentor, I got stuck in a deep hole and i had to be hauled out." She smiled, remembering. "But the way they had to get me out, was by I had to hang onto my mentor's tail. Afterward, he said that his tail will come off if I ever decide to go into that hole again."

Snowpaw laughed. "That's crazy! I once decided to play hide-and-seek without my mentor's consent while training. I hid in the lake and he had to come and drag me out! Boy, was he mad!" Snowpaw grinned. "I think I'll do that again."
