If you're talking about in the books, most females were green. So green was a very common scale color despite them not really talking about other greens. Males varied in almost every color, but Females tended to mostly be green accordingly.

thank you, but if dragons were always slaughtered, it is not logical, that e. g. grey dragons are very rare -. the females must get uncommon at least, too ;) That's the hard reality, has nothing to do with CS.

Uhm, in the books that the dragons on CS are based on there were just as many females as males. So with that logic, is females are typically green and males vary in color, green would be the most common color. Gray dragons are the most rare because they don't happen very often and in the books it said something about how most of the ones that do hatch don't survive the hatching fight since they are scaleless and more vulnerable to their clutch brothers. In the series these dragons on CS are based on only one male was supposed to survive from each clutch. Thus making the whole green being the most common color thing even more understandable seeing that all the females from each clutch were allowed to live but typically only one male was.

The dragons weren't always slaughtered, they had their own city where they lived and had slaves, and thrived. They were uncommon through the rest of the land because of that. But they also lived in mass in the colder part of the world where a wizard enslaved them...

Thank you for the information. The book sounds interesting, the part of dtragon city with own slaves reminds me of the "Tripods", though it may be a little worse for the dragons, cause men hunt them for hundreds of years. They seemingly never win.

Sorry for bumping up an old thread, but is it possible to get the names for Tess Dragons?
I didn't see them anywhere, and they aren't on the wiki.
Unless I overlooked them, in that case I'm very sorry.

I'm not sure where you'd look for them. But they are not Malk Dragons so wouldn't be discussed here.

I've never really thought about it though, other than the St. Patty's day one, what ARE their names anyway? :/
