Saya took out a pouch of water and put it up to his mouth. "Try and drink this it will help some."

Frank heaved as the fist connected with his bony features and felt himself collapse tothe ground, winding himself so that he was clutching his chest and coughing manically. He heard Emeralds voice and wavered at her to signal that he was fine and generously took the water from the girl, lapping it up.

Emerald sat up, spots covering her vision. As she stood the ground seemed to tumble under her but she managed to stumble over to Arrowin, seeing as how Frank was already being taken care of by Saya. She knelt down by Arrowin and helped her sit up, gasping when she saw the spirals in her neck. "Arrowin!" she exclaimed, shock and then anger rushing over her. "He's marked you!"

Arowin paniced as she hit the dirt. Pain flooded through her as she felt her previous wounds scream out. She turned her face trying to move out of Sam's grip but before she could fight back she felt the blade on her knock again. She stifled her screams and closed her eyes and then just as he had come, he was gone again. Arowin felt gentle hands reach for her and help her up. Arowin's anger and shame grew inside of her near snapping her. "Shut up." she said harshly and pulled her tattered shirt up to cover it. "No one else will no." she said to Emerald and leaned on her slightly. "I'm sorry this is my fault, I should never have come after him, I should never have let him live." she muttered. She had grown soft lately. She thought twice about killing people and that wasn't like her. she was used to be cold and heartless, it had helped her survive.

Emerald nodded and shut her open jaw as Arrowin had asked. "Of course." she said. "My lips are sealed." she said quietly. She frowned and shook her head. "It's fine, we all do reckless things from time to time. And I don't blame you for going after him, I would of gone after him as well." she said, glancing at the tree Envy was pacing under. The same tree Sam had gone up, but she knew he was gone by now. "Let's just get back to the hideout and get you patched up." she said, turning her head to look back at Arrowin. She smiled. "Don't worry, we'll kill him next time."

Arowin nodded and looked around for Ace and finally saw him in she shade of a tree not far off. She slowly made her way to him and stroked the spooked horse. "Its alright boy, we are fine." she said and walked leaning on him slightly towards the hideout.

Frank had staggered to his feet and walked to go grab Diad, mounting up and riding up to Emerald "Is she okay?" he asked in a hushed voice, looking towards Arrowin as he spoke and wincing as he turned his lower torso.

Emerald nodded and stood up, dusting off her hands and whistled for Envy. The perturbed stallion snorted and cantered over to Emerald. "She's fine. Just a few minor injuries and a little bit shaken." she said as she mounted up. After quickly adjusting her seat and winding hr fingers through Envy's mane, she looked up at Frank. "What about you? You alright?" she asked worriedly.

Frank nodded "Yeah fine, just a small wound" he said as he felt tHe warm trickle of blood on the side of his face "You?" he asked, riding next to her,mopping his face with his sleeve and sighing in annoyance. Diads head shook up and down as he played with the bit in his mouth, jogging forward and snorting happily.

Emerald sighed and bit her lip to keep herself from arguing that he didn't look okay. "I'm fine. Just a little bump on the back of my head." she said. She remember when Sam slapped her and wondered if she still had a hand print on her cheek.
