Critique and comments absolutely loved.
No redlines for paintings, please.
That's absoultly stunning. First off, the anatomy is almost perfect, I spot little fault. I can see where the light source is coming from clearly, so I have little help in the matter I'm afraid. May I ask what kind of robin is is? As it looks nothing like the ones we get round here. (':
123qw, move quickly and lightly, I find it really helps when sketching to build up the shape of somethingusing light touches. Quicker movements often make the lines much smoother. C:
Duh, I love the result of your livestream alot. <3 Espiecally the shading.
Nebulus, first of all, great attempt at drawing a female. the head seems a bit to pointy and sharpened at the end, maybe round that off a bit? Also I noticed she has litte neck, perhaps extend it a little bibt unless of course you wanted it like that. C:
I don't have anything to ask for myself as of yet. :')

Guys, thanks for modding the thread while I was sleeping. But, please, if anyone posts a livestream close to another, don't all attack that one person. I've been reading through the posts and several ganged up on one person. If there are problems, you may speak up, but don't all posts the exact same thing that one person said. Some of you were equally rude as posting a second stream is. Please, live and let live. This is the artist army, not the artist court.
Notice:
I have updated the rules and added a rule to cover the huge amount of livestream problems we've been having. Also, be sure to re-read the rule about posting comments about art that's within 10 posts of your own.
Thank you.
Now I can go comb my hair and have breakfast.
Edit:
Oddly Shaded, I'll be working on your redline after I eat something.
Here's your redline. I hope it helps a bit. I slightly tilted your drawing.

Duh, I think I forgot to send you this a long time ago..

I have no idea about the bamboo, but I found this tutorial really useful when I got my Intuos. It is directed at 'Wacom' users so it should be helpful. It does talk about Bamboo quickly, but I didn't read that because it didn't apply to me! ^^
It tells you all about setting up the tablet, useful tips when using a tablet and tere's one section called 'drawing class' which is really helpful if you use photoshop because it tells you great tips that you can't get so easily when using a mouse.
Wacom Starter's Guide 2011I can't say anything about the robin apart from the fact I know nothing about birds and I think it's perfect! There is probably soemthing that could be improved but I really can't see it!
Can I PM you with a few questions on how you did it? I want to get into painting more.

I found it really helpful when I got my tablet to just use it for everyday things, on the internet and stuff. ouo It helps you sort of... connect the cursor on the screen with the movement of your pen, or something like that. -bad at explaining-
Lol Nex I totally forgot about that, thanks for giving it to me c:
And yay for rules! -confetti-

Thanks for the help, all of you. I redid her last night using all of these tips, and I'm going to upload it later today. I extended her neck a litle bit, and fixed her anatomy errors.
Nex, that picture for Duh is simply beautiful!

Cerulean. wrote:Could I have a bit of help with this drawing?
I know the head is a bit large.
It's supposed to be a mustang x thoroughbred stallion jumping, if that helps.
A redline or even some crit would be highly appreciated <3
That is great! IT looks like perspective because of how the head is, I just see that if it is perspective, the neck needs to be larger. That's all I can say, because now I have to go to school. I'll help afterwards.
