Rustin just rolled his eyes in an annoyed gesture before leaning forward and pressing one of the buttons to the side. His finger punched in twelve, making the button light up as the elevator finally closed with a swoosh. "While you're in there, don't mess anything up. I worked hard to get it the way it is and I don't need anyone to ruin it, got it?" He growled to everyone, crossing his arms as he leant against the wall.

Malissa glared at her brother before giving everyone a reassuring smile. "Don't worry, he won't do anything" She said to Kodi and Sushi in a low voice, shifting her weight as the elevator ascended.

Akira pursed her lips as she took an unsure step forward, deciding to get a closer look. Maybe this person was lost? A lot of people tended to lose track of where they were in this forest, especially people who haven't even lived in this city long enough.
With a worried frown, Akira then took another step, emerging through the shadows to see that this stranger was a girl, around the same age as her. It took her a while to work up the courage to say something. "H-hello?" She asked hesitantly, stepping back a little bit just in cas she had to flee, her soft fawn ears swiveling back to press against her head.

Kodi shoved his phone back in his pocket. " I know. He likes to complain to us. " He told her with a smile. It was true, ever since he met the guy, all he'd seen was attitude.

Sushi smiled at the girl, then looked down at her pink sneakers. she didn't like elevators very much, but she coped well.

As the lift finally stopped, a little sound chimed outside, indicating the elevator has stopped and was ready to be borded. As the stainless steel doors slid open, Rustin stepped outside with a satisfied smile, looking around to study his old home. A number of doors were placed all the way down the creamy white hall, the carpet a soft crimson red. Warm yellow lights hung from the ceiling, lighting the hallway with a sunny effect.
With a casual stride, Rustin walked down the hallway, taking his time to look at numerous paintings that decorated the walls. He hadn't seen them the last time he was there. He frowned, his eyes drifting to a dark brown oak door just to the side with the number 27 on it.

Malissa nodded in agreement, a grin of relief on her face. She was glad that they didn't judge her because of her brothers actions, like so many other people had done in her life. She looked down the hall to see her brother flip out a key card from his pocket and place it in a little slot just below the door handle, seeing the door swing open with ease as Rustin shoved it open.
"Well, I guess we better go" She murmered with a skeptical yet ready smile.

Kodi laughed a little. " I guess we should. " He began walking after Rustin, Sushi right behind him. 'How is Rustin so mean when his sister's so nice? Makes no sense to me.' He thought to himself.

Melodi sighed.
"Nothing makes much sense right now. Hey, Rustin? Where is Em?" she asked.

Kodi stiffened slightly at the mention of Emily. 'She ran away...' He thought sadly. But. he wouldn't say so outloud.

RUstin walked into a stylish, two bedroom sweet. His deep brown eyes roved over the large living room, the sleek, black TV poking out of the wall, the screen dark with the lack of electricity. The black leather sofa faced the TV in a semi circle, large enough to hold 7 to 9 people all at once. A wide, glass coffee table stood in front of the sofa, a jet black vase set in the middle of the table with white orchids sticking out of the top. Under neath the coffee table was a jet black shag carpet with the a soft flowery scent rising from it, hand picked by Malissa, ofcourse. The walls were a crisp, snowy white, numerous pantings hanging by it with black, steel frames with floral designs on them. They were mostly of him and Malissa. Lamps and plants decorated the rest of the room while a crystal chandelier hung from the very center p the room, lighting up most of it.
Rustin smiled with satisfied pleasure before turning to Melody with a stoney look. "Yeah, she's gone."

Melody nodded, sighing softly. She smiled at the room.
"You can tell it was done by you two. It's beautiful." Melody commented.
