Kane flat out refused to stay still as Cy took the bullet out. He lifted his head and snapped at Cy's hands, but lay still as he was stitched up. Still, he growled loudly, and bared his teeth.

Cora got up and watched the explosion. "god I hope they made it

" At least the bullets will be out soon." Violet said to Kane, trying to get him to calm down. She looked over to the forest with wide eyes as it exploded.

Cy removed the other bullets and began to stick up the wounds

Kane lifted his head to stare at Cy. He stopped growling and instead, whined. His tail was firmly between his legs, and his ears back. Still, he tried his best not to bite at Cy as Cy helped him. Kane looked at Violet, then at the explosion of the forest. He was confused and frightened. He'd lived in the forest for months, now most of it was gone.
