Kane's chest constricted, then relaxed. He did so a few times before passing out again. Anyone who looked would think Violet was carrying a dead dog.

Cora slowed down getting tired. Her breathing was off but she would live

Cy walked over to Kane. "where are you hit?" he asked as he slung his bow over his shoulder

"d***! one made it" Cora said still on the ground

Violet sighed with relief. " Good." She said shifting back fully into a human. She put Kane down and sat down, catching her breath. She looked up at Cy. " He's unconcious, but i do know he has a bullet in his ankle."

Kane responded with his eyes half open. As he was in his canine form, he could only whine and lift his injured left backleg slightly. His flank had clotted slightly and was bleeding slower, whilst his ankle was stained red. Kane lay his head on the ground, trying to stay awake.

"ok easy fix" Cy said then took some wire, a needle and pliers out of his pack. He used the pliers and got the bullet in kanes ankle then stitched it up

"I thought jack woke up. I set him down and kept running" Cora daid
