Personality: Bishop is an intelligent and quick-witted docksen, and it's very difficult to pull a fast one on him. He knows the right time to act silly to put a smile on the face of his keepers, or when he needs to be serious and protective around them. Unlike most of the males of his species, Bishop prefers the quietness of his own company and tends to stay close to his home. It has nothing to do with fearing the outside world - as he is a very curious creature - but he simply doesn't like straying far from what he considers to be his territory. This includes the rivers, streams, and ponds littering the grounds, and like his species, he delights in spending time in these water-filled places.

It shouldn't be a surprise then to know that it's difficult to get him to come out of the water, and when he's forced onto dry land for care or some other necessity, he becomes cranky - which has resulted in his keepers affectionately nicknaming him "Grumpy Gus". Really though, Bishop is known to be rather patient, but when he starts to pace, you know even that is starting to wear thin. He likes to observe the people and things around him - even if he doesn't always interact with them - and this tends to allow him to pick up on things others might not.
