Zane D.| Second in Command

There isn't a thing called 'dark and dangerous.' For me, it's 'dark, handsome, cool, witty, and dangerous'

Zane flew up to Char, face serious. "Char, do you want any help?" He asked quietly, nodding to Ariana cradled in Char's arms. "You've been carring her for a while. You should take a break." He matched his wingbeats to hers so that he didn't have to shout to get his point across. Zane marveled at how slowly they where going, it may be because of the clouds. He didn't feel safe, they couldn't see if an Eraser decided to pick on of them off.

Sighing, the tall, strong teenager turned back to his designated leader. "This would be easier if you could fly faster, then they'd pick up the pace a bit. Just give her to me and tell them. Please, Char? I don't want you to hurt yourself, as in I really don't want you to hurt yourself." He stared up at her pleadingly. "Come on, what's the worst that could happen! Oops! Jinxed it!" He laughed, but proceded to stay at Char's side, almost going to beat her to take the child in her arms.

Zane stopped laughing, subsiding to a gentle chuckle every once in a while. His face slowly, ever so slowly, became grim again, solid as stone. "Char," he said slowly and quietly, "Give Ari to me, now," He flew over, so that he was flying above them, ready to snatch the child away from his leader, least they both hurt themselves. And Zane too.

Lany backpeddled a little bit, hoping to overhear Zane and Char, who was holding Ari. Zane appeared to be wanting to take Ari, something about, not tiring out, whatever. Lanu began to pump her wigs furiously, stirring up her own breeze before shooting up and doing a few flips and other means of showing off, just for fun.

She tried to train her strong eyes down below to see some reagular, boring humans, but a cloud obscured her eagle-eye view. "Gah!" she murmured quietly, wanting to spy on the little pests, Just wait, Thim, she thought There will be pleanty when we land.

Sighing, Lany dropped back down to fly on the side of the flock's rough formation and began to doze off a little, gliding. She would flap a few times to mantain altitude, but was really just riding along in Char's jet stream, letting the river of air support her while she rested. I wonder where we're landing, she thought. I hope it's someplace nice.

Ariana blinked open her eyes, stretching out as much as she could within Charlotte’s arms. Sighing, the little girl pushed away her brown curls yet again. “Char. When are we gonna be there?” She asked, a slight whine tingeing her usually soft angelic voice. Realizing that the group was flying through actual clouds again, she swept a hand out, moving them away from the flock so they could see ahead. “Are you sure you’re right about this place?” She asked, her raptor-like vision picking up nothing within the some-what short mile distance she could see from this high up.

Blayne blinked and pushed his jet black hair from his face as the clouds parted around the group again. He gave a slight smile, amazed at Ariana’s growing telekinetic powers. Yeah Char, when are you going to let us rest. We could walk on foot, I’m sure they’d all be greatful. He thought to the leader, sweeping his gaze around the tiring flock members. Even he, who was Head Hunter and used to flying such long distances slowly to search for Erasers was tired. His dark onyx colored wings has lost their usual luster, growing dull compared to what pristine black that was their regular color. Truth be told, Blayne needed some rest, and being so high up without being able to use his powers was really starting to wear down on his mental state.

Mood: Slightly Irritated

Charlotte sighed and nodded. "Yeah. We should get there...soon." Charlotte said carefully, not wanting the little girl to worry too much. "Just go back to sleep." she said, looking down at Ariana for just a few seconds to make sure she was alright. Never know what might happen, here in The Flock's lives. Watching the sky darkening really did not improve the young leader's mood. They were going so slow. At most four miles per hour. Charlotte snapped her head to look at Blayne, who looked like he was harmless, but he was thinking some awful things.

"Walking on foot just gives Erasers an advantage on us. Plus, there are no forests to hide us. So not a great idea, Blayne." was her reply, cutting through the silence. Soon after that, it wasn't the only thing that cut the silence. Then came Zane. She flew away from the rest of The Flock, thinking that it was some important battle plan in case Erasers had learned how to fly. Bad decision in her part. "No, I'm fine." Charlotte replied, cutting Zane off. But there was more, of course. "I'm not tired." she insisted. "They'll just stay at the same pace!" Charlotte exclaimed, getting a bit irritated from Zane. "How would I hurt myself. I'm fully capable of taking care of myself, thanks." she said stiffly.

Okay, now Charlotte really wanted to punch Zane. She closed her eyes and opened them slowly. She almost died on the spot. Instead of just seeing Zane and the others, she saw all the separate molecules in the sky. Swinging her hand forward to punch Zane, she found that she didn't even touch him when he flew back. Her eyes widened as she cautiously used a finger to cut through a molecule. It made a tiny explosion. She had a new power. She could cut molecules open.
