What is ninja trading?

Sublime, I don't think people would be that crude towards you, if there wasn't that little fact of you ninjatrading, was it six zebras? Then trading them away and that way completing your collection.
I'm not trying to 'fight' you here. You just had a lot of question marks in your first post about 'what is the deal with ninja trading' and I felt I needed to answer.

What is ninja trading?

The most common way is to offer something super common for a new person's rare pets.

Why is it that because I have a uncommon 09 pet on my wishlist, everyone immediately assumes I will trade my extra Blue Balloon dog for it? Um, helloooo, use your brain people.

I'm not trying to 'fight' you here. You just had a lot of question marks in your first post about 'what is the deal with ninja trading' and I felt I needed to answer.

Try 3 Zebras -- I had 3 of my own and 3 to trade away. Funny thing is, the people trading the zebras OFFERED them to me. 2 of 6 I had the person send me a message saying do you want this? I'm not going to say no -- just like no one else on the game would have said no if someone offered them it.

You never answered me though, what is the difference between ninja trading zebras and any other rare pet? What makes one so much worse than the other? If I am going to be harassed about my trading methods, yet others do the same thing, what makes that okay? Think about all of the people who ninja traded pets after December 18th?? All the rares, very rares and UR pets that were avalible...not to mention Zebras -- what makes them doing it any better than me?

Also -- I had completed my collection shortly before I even got any of those Zebras.

I think biggest difference would be the fact that a zebra is the most valuable pet on the entire site, considered 'OMG so rare' and worth about half the extremely valuable pets on the site..

Either way, my opinions are my opinions - I'm not gonna flaunt them around anymore. Trade Rant thread has been super derailed from what it is supposed to be lately...arguments, random chatter and all that. I come here to read about people getting idiotic, hilarious trades. :]

The UR Bananna and Black Cat are also the same rarity and people ninja traded them all through CS on December 18th.

Its not derailed -- Its trade rant thread -- I was ranting about the fact that I have a bunch of kids getting mad at me because I won't accept their 'lowball' trades and once I dont accept it, I get harassed and berated...? Really people...I mean really??

@Mini -- Thanks hun, I appreciate it. There are few and far inbetween when it comes to people who won't completely bash me haha, granted I don't care about those who would bash me either way

This is not ninja trading, as has been often clarified on other threads.. and possibly on this one too.

Ninja trading is an open trade for someone else's pets, and you let them decide what they want. Sometimes it may be equal value, sometimes it may be more and you have to haggle down, sometimes it may be some outcomes they missed that they want that aren't the value of the one you asked for.

What you're describing is shadier, really, and someone who does that and then tries to convince the new person that the common things offered are more valuable is scamming. Not ninja trading.

Just kinda butting in a conversation, but to be honest, I'd prefer a zebra to have a decent home with a user who actually does stuff on this site, a lot of newbies nowadays leave and then those good rares are being wasting on dead accounts.

But hey; that's just my weird, probably stupid opinion x3
