the other day , Toby was climbing on the bars of his cage, upside down!!! so i was like, "Spider-toby, spider-toby does what eva a spider hamster does can he swing from a cage, yes he can he's a hamster, what out he is the spider ham, BA BA!" i was laughing so much!

I think they live to be the same age as hamsters, but im not sure.

^^^ My hamster used to that all the time when she was younger.

Last night Magic finally gave up the fight. She hadn't been well for about a month, and after shed gotten over her illness she began to get weaker and weaker. We moved her into a smaller cage where she could get to her food and water easily and wouldn't have to walk very far. I think she got arthritis as she could walk well atll and her claws had to be trimmed because they were getting really long(by a vet)
Anyway last night we found her in her cage, barely alive, lying on her side. A few moments later she died, and we've burried her in the garden , were going to plant a bulb where she is burried. Magic was nearly 3 years old when she died.

I might be getting another hamster, but don't think I'm trying to replace her because no hamster ever could. If I do get another hanster I will be getting a rescue one from a shelter.

Sorry for my inactivity...
Well, I just suffered a really big loss, she was the only Hamster that could make me cry, I can't cry and this is bad at certain point, but her death made me cry again, the last time I cried was almost 10 years ago, when my first dog died in my arms when I was taking him to the vet and then, I stopped crying and I thought I would never cry again, but then, my favorite Hamster, called Ruth died at the Christmas day, I was so sad, I was alone at home as well and I felt so bad, really bad because she died at my hands, she hibernated and I came too late to save her, I tried for about 3 hours but then I understood, she was dead since the moment I found her, I keep the room warm but it seems that it doesn't work at all anymore...
Ruth was almost 5 years old and was my favorite Hamster ever and she had something special as well...she was probably the biggest Hamster recognized by my country's Klub....

I'm sorry about Ruth, she looked like a lovely hamster, it must have been hard to loose her at christmas. Five years is a good age for a hamster though. I cried when Magic died and so did my brother. .

Tell me what your hamster's name: Well, At the moment I have 5! 3 Robroski's and two Syrian hamsters, one of which is longhaired. The three Robs are Fatboy, Tufty and Drowsy, and the two Syrians are Bliss and Belle. I used to have more, but I lost three of my robs two an unknown disease (R.I.P Tiny, Tunnel and Wheelie) And two other hamsters, One died of Old age, the other died of a toumor in his belly the size of a ping pong ball. (R.I.P Snuggles and Cwtch)
How old the hamster is: Bliss is 2, Belle is 8 weeks, and I'm not sure how old the robs are. We call them Munchkins btw.
Gender(boy or girl): Bliss and Belle are both female and the 3 robs are males.
