Have you seen those giant columbus rats? (think thats their name) they are giant rats, i saw some advertised but they don't make good pets apparently pluss they need like a large dog cage rather than a rat cage. They look awsome though but saddly my mum won't let me get sny more rats because of my astma but i want to get some and i love the bald rats :D so cool :D
Sorry for my slow response time on RP's. My new job steals ALL my time. :(

As long as you keep their cage clean it shouldn't smell too bad. :3
I'm getting rats soon, but I have to get girls. My mom doesn't like the males' "lower area". ;n; The boys are more cuddlier and lazier. Oh well, at least I'm getting rats.
My mom is the same way, but regardless of what she says, the next rats I get are gonna be boys, and one of their names is going to bee Beetlejuice >w< I love my girls, but I can't deal with all that hyper all the time, it drives me nuts most of the time.

I would suggest looking at her whole mouth if she'll let you open it up to look inside. It's possible that if she's not interested in chewing, that there might be something wrong with her teeth or jaws. We had one guinea pig, Pumpkyn, my mom's favorite guinea pig, got an infected molar in the back which had gotten really bad and had spread to the jaw and her other teeth. It was really bad and we had to put her to sleep because even if the vet had been able to solve the problem, there was no guarantee that it wouldn't happen again or be completely solved. If her teeth appear fine, I'd suggest getting some chew toys and maybe put them in a container with food she likes that way she'd be attracted to them and want to chew them. Also, may I ask, how long are they? It's very possible she may already have malocclusion which would mean you'll either need to take her to the vet or try to trim her teeth yourself.
