Luke nodded to Jack. "I understand. Tell me when you're ready." To Riley he said, "I don't want to leave Jack alone, but he won't morph. He can't fight like that."

Skye drew her dagger and morphed halfway so she'd have wings. She was ready to fight.

Cora roared in pain and shifted halfway back to human. She turned and flashed out her hand and sacked Ziren in the face. "come on! I'm not dead yet!" she said and jumped on him. She dug her claws in his shoulders and glared at him in the eyes. "it takes a lot more than that to kill me!"
