The Guidance- OLD

[Sabatea]

"Okay..." Will murmured, blinking at him in confusion for a moment before he reversed the car to the road, driving in the direction of the police station.

Drake coughed again, trying to cover it. He looked down at the floor, before speaking. "I can't think of anything else to help Myra, unless I tell you the truth." he said, sighing.

[Sabatea]

Will didn't reply, not wanting to press him for answers. His gaze remained on the road as he continued driving.

"Myra and Feron, the other kid..they have a special connection to an animal, called their Guardian.." he said, his gaze still on the floor. "They feel the same pain, they can transfer thoughts, and share feelings and sight." he said, coughing. "Ralen, Myra's guardian, is a dhole. He must be sick with that disease you told me about, since Myra's sick with it." he said, sighing.

Will glanced sideways at him, blinking at him curiously. "Your serious?" he murmured.

"I'm serious. That's what those 'doctors' were after in the hospital yesterday. They torture us for answers. Including me, even though I don't have a guardian.." he mumbled, still looking at the ground.

[Sabatea]

"That explains the scars..." Will muttered, though he seemed slightly disturbed by the information.

[BlossomTail]

"And the bullets, and everything else." he mumbled, sighing. "Please..don't tell anyone.." he said suddenly, his voice pleading. "If you do, I might as well slit my own throat." he mumbled, coughing again.

"Well you've already done that..." Will muttered before he sighed softly, "No, I won't tell anyone." he promised.

Drake smiled slightly. "Again." he added, before looking up and over at him. "Thanks.." he muttered. "Myra'll kill me for this though. Maybe Feron." he mumbled to himself, sighing. His headache was getting worse, and he closed his eyes, trying to rest.
