Lestat smiled softly, kissing the top of her head.
Adelie blinked, frowning softly and sighing as she slowly started to step back from him again, slight hurt and annoyance to herself in her eyes. "Sorry.... Claire and I should get going." She murmured quietly, turning away from him and immediately walking back to her horse. "Let's go, Claire." She murmured softly, mounting the horse. Claire froze in surprise, frowning and looking at Seth, her ears softly flicked back in pain as Adelie swiftly kicked her into a trot, starting back to the dirt road they could leave from.

Seth reared and took off after Claire.
Dane slumped against a tree and watched Seth go.
