*Twitch* Ok, this is super super embarassing for me to do this ... just so you know.. (Also - they're like.. 8-10 in this so the language is more simple i think ¬.¬ and the whole concept is not well explained in this at all.. ha.. ima sound like a furry XD but i'm not! i swear! *hides in my corner of embarassment*
We sat out in the field together, perched on the edge of a tall mound, facing the sky. Me and her, alone, together. It was night, the moon was nowhere to be found. I liked it. Bright stars lit the sky. The long grass tickled between the pads on my toes. I giggled silently to myself.
It had been a month since I had been found by the two of them. The old one had healed me, mostly, but my wounds were deep and they still hurt if I moved carelessly. I didn’t know what to think about the Kyatsu beside me. Lysira. That was her name. She was younger than me, but not by much, perhaps a year. And she was a shifter as well. Huh.
I glanced over at her long silver hair, it shimmered in the starlight, and disappeared into her clothing as it changed from white to black. Her blue eyes were fixated above at the stars.
She pointed and gasped, before letting out a long stream of words. I didn’t understand them. Her language was a mystery to me. I cocked my head as she repeated what she said, but slower this time. Still no understanding. Frustrated, she pointed back up at the sky, and then looked back at me. I didn’t understand.
Lysira angrily took my wrist and thrust it to where she pointed again. I followed her gaze up my arm and stared at the tiny pinpricks of light. One fell. A long stream of white light followed it as it disappeared. I should have been amazed. I should have been astounded. But all I could think of was her hand wrapped tightly around my wrist. A warm flush flew up my face and burned the tips of my ears, causing me to lower them. My tail swished uncertainly back and forth. She let go and continued to watch the sky.
My gaze flicked between the sky and the Kyatsu. Lysira’s hand was resting only inches away from my own. All I had to do was reach out and grab it. My heart pounded in my chest, I was worried she would hear it. Her ears twitched to my direction, and all around. She was on constant alert for danger, even though her eyes were distracted. Or maybe she could hear me. A small bead of sweat dripped down my neck. I ignored it.
With every star that fell, she let out a gasp of amazement. Some I would catch from the corner of my eye, but my full attention was on her hand. I wanted to take it. I wanted to hold it.
Slowly, I inched my own hand towards it. Inch by inch. I could feel every blade of grass as it tickled over my clawed fingertips. With a final breath I reached and grabbed for her hand, holding it in my own. My face burned and my ears lay nervously across my head. My heart sang painfully in my chest. I was glad for the darkness. She turned to me and let out a small giggle, before returning the grasp. Her wolf tail slowly swept across the grass, a slow, happy wag. I nervously returned the grin and relaxed slightly.
Together we both turned to watch the stars as they fell from the sky.
Are you currently working on any books?Yes, indeed I am! ... Sort of. X3 I have one that is proving increasingly difficult to put onto paper, purely because i am insisting on doing it in order, and my characters don't seem to like that. And the other one, my main male lead is being... a little obnoxious and not letting me understand his character well, so i've come to a little bit of a standstill on that one. I have a couple of other ideas that have been floating around in my head, but I'm not too keen on developing too many characters at once. My characters are
very real to me, and sometimes my head gets a little to crowded as it is
Why do you want to join?Mainly 'cause I've never been part of a club like this, and I'm sorta secretly hoping it will improve my motivation somewhat

(Which is lacking in all parts of writing except the imaginary mind-thinking part)
Do you have published books yet?Nope, i wish! Though I think I would be too nervous to publish my work.. I have little confidence in it. Not only that but I'm prettttty sure my concepts wouldn't be well met by the general public
Do you wish to find a "writing partner"?Not really. I tried that once, which is how my second story was born, however half way though i was told that "My character was no longer needed." Ouch. So I think i'll pass, but it was a great excuse to create a great bunch of characters
What Role(s):Author (i'm still a little confused about the roles business.. i read the first few posts and still didn't understand.)
What's your favorite Genre?Hmm... Urban fantasy, fantasy (as long as its not.. too out there), classics, general fiction.. To be honest i'm not that sure. At the end of the day (as sad as this is) i prefer to create my own stories than read published ones XD Oh! but I love reading stuff my friends have written
What kind of books do you write?Uh I guess they would be considered fantasy? I'm not really sure how to classify it X3
