Akari couldn't help but laugh at his reaction, expecting him to throw it back at her, but only watching as he flew off to another tree. She stuck her tongue out at him playfully and then stretched, making sure that her wings stayed away from hitting the tree. When Serria commented about it being mean, she just laughed. "It's my job to bug brothers." She winked and then leaped off the branch, slowly drifting towards the ground, but stopping at Jason's branch.
Shaking him gently, she watched as he sleepily blinked open his eyes, and she couldn't help but smile. "Mornin' sleepy head. How'd ya sleep?"
"Good." Jason yawned in reply, rubbing his eyes in the most adorable way before flexing his multi colored small wings. She grinned and flitted back up to her branch, peering over at a flustered Nudge with a laugh. "I think somebody's getting a little close, don't ya think?" Akari smiled to show she was teasing, giggling when Nudge stuck out her tongue in reply.

Naomi couldn't help but slightly giggle at the situation, getting over her moment before, until Akari brough it back up. As said, she stuck her tongue out and turned her back to the older girl, crossing her arms in a mock pout. But things only got worse when Damian looked at her and asked if she was alright. About to die of embarssment, she was grateful for the distraction from Serria as she took a second to calm down, giggling when the pine cone hit Damian in the head. She found it quite funny she had to say.

Damian huffed when the temporary pain of Serria's pinecone wore off and he stood to his full height and stetched out his wings a bit. When he was able to use them without any pain, he rolled his shoulders and glanced around. The nearby city looked a bit different now since it wasn't nightfall, it looked more alive in a way. More cars? Possibly or maybe it was because there weren't many lights.
"Well, I dunno about you guys but I'm starving. I'd rather find something to eat than think about tearing someone's arm off." Damian commented before stepping off the branch and allowing his rusty-red wings to catch some air. The air was warm, it was summer but it would soon be fall. Damian hated the cold, it would remind him of the cold cages for one and it was his preference for two. Or maybe that wasjust the bird DNA kicking in, reason why their somewhat cousins migrate. Should they migrate too? Now that was a dumb question and Damian laughed to himself about it.

.:Serria Hawkins:.
"Uh, hello? How are we gonna hide in the city without showing off our feathered attachments known as wings?" Serria called after Damian and again he didn't reply. "Stop ignoring me!" She hissed but then sighed knowing it was a lost cause to Damian. It was only them that could act like siblings without being related in any way. Thank god, Serria sighed mentally to herself and looked back over towards Ryu's new tree. He was still there but seemed to be nodding off, still trying to wake up. Serria didn't have the slightest clue what the school did to him to make him act so much like a night creature. Even at the school, she would notice how he could stay up all night and tried his hardest to stay awake during the day. It was like sleep was unknown to him until now.
"My previous question still stands, how are we gonna hide here?" Serria asked but this time looking in Akari's direction and a quick glace at Nudge.

Akari looked at Damian as he drifted to the ground, and she had to agree, she was practically starving. But kids first, then her. Listening to Serria's question she thought about it for a moment. "Well, first off, we need some better clothes than what we have now.." She trailed off, looking around at all of the others. They all had on the same thing, white shirts with slits for wings and jeans, stolen from the scientists. They needed something else to cover up their wings. "Well... We could get some windbreakers, but that means we need to steal them. We could go and find a house to take them from or we can find a store and get some. Option A or Option B?" She looked over at Ryu across on the other trees, raising her eyebrows. His input counted as much as the others, no matter whether or not she loved teasing him.

Naomi nodded in agreement with Damian, her stomach roaring in reply to the thoughts of food. As she listened to each of Akari's options she just shook her head. "Why don't we just steal the food instead. That would save us from having to steal clothes and then buying food. I mean, we don't have any money anyways." She shrugged and listened for the others opinions.

Damian crossed his arms and chuckled as he listened to the flock. "Ladies, please, I'm born to break the law. How about you guys worry about the windbreakers and I'll worry what were going to eat? We'll meet back here in about... what, an hour or two?" Damian offered and shuffled his wings. He was already anxious to get going, he can do it alone if Akari allowed him to but having a partner in crime would always help. Preferably Nudge or Ryu since they have more sense than him by a long shot.
"Hell, don't even worry about money just yet. We'll get to that when we need it." Damian shrugged and was already eyeing the direction he was going to take.


.:Serria Hawkins:.
Serria rolled her blue eyes when Damian had the look of trouble spreading across his face. Anyone can take one look at Damian and think that he is nothing but trouble and sadly he knew how to get out of most of them. Should be a good thing for him since he's the one asking for it. "It doesn't matter to me but I'm not going to be the one to break you're sorry butt out of the back of a cop car if you get caught, you, oh-so-natural thief." Serria commented with a hint of sarcasm.

.:Ryu Firenze:.
When Ryu caught Akari giving him a look, he shook his head a bit to wake himself up and stand to glide back over towards the flock. He took a branch higher than Akari's this time, still a bit irritable from his sudden awakening. After hearing what the flock had to say, he didn't trust Damian just yet to handle something like money. If anyone was the true criminal here Ryu knew he would be the first in line. Ryu may not look it but he already had a few ways. He thought of some things last night before going to sleep. Always thinking ahead of time was something he always took into consideration.
"I don't like the idea of splitting up but I think we don't have that many options." Ryu said lightly only enough for Akari to hear and he didn't say much else.

Akari glanced at Damian and she had to admit, it was a good idea. "Alright, Damian, you and Nudge can go and get the food. And before you complain I am not sending you alone in fear that you may come back with more than just food. For instance, a car, or a penguin. Serria, do you think you and Jason can go and find us an abandoned building somewhere we can stay? And finally, though I hate to say it, me and Ryu will go off and find clothes for us. Meet back here in an hour. If one of you guys don't show up within five minutes of the hour, I'm going to move us down by the mountains over there," She pointed towards the mountains that loomed in the distance. "If you don't show up within two days, we're going to try to come back and find you. Alright, everyone, let's split up." She smiled, leaping into the air, her white wings catching the breeze and pulling her low towards the ground, making sure she wasn't high enough for someone to notice, heading towards the city.

Naomi blushed at the thought of pairing up with Damian and was entirely shocked when Akari did so. Scowling, she watched as she began to fly off, Ryu most likely going behind her. Jason leaped off his branch as well, hovering for Serria for a minute before flapping his multi-colored wings and soaring into the sky and then back down. Which just left him and Damian. "A penguin?" Was all she could think of to break the silence before she laughed and leaned backwards, free falling from the branch they both stood on, her wings catching on air and pulling her skyward. "C'mon then. Let's go find some penguins."

.:Ryu Firenze:.
Ryu kept his expression even and somewhat cold but didn't hesitate to open his wings and glide right after Akari. The idea of Nudge and Damian working together sounded like an omen, something that didn't seem all to promising, but if Akari was okay with it then fine. It was better than sending him off all by himself. All Ryu had to do was hope that Damian didn't screw up and both him and Nudge come back unharmed. Serria could take care of herself and Jay if something ever crossed them.
Ryu remained in his silence as he lowered himself slightly towards the ground as they closed in on the city. Hopefully nobody had the intention of looking up anytime soon.

.:Damian Auguste:.
"Gonna problem with penguins?" Damian raised an eyebrow at Akari before taking off after Nudge. Flying would put anyone in a good mood, it's just something about it that allowed you to forget everything in a split second. All up until he noticed Nudge again and remebered what they were supposed to do.
"What are you up for? I'm still craving pizza since last night." Damian shrugged and remembered when one of the Whitecoats taking a break in one of the rooms. The scent of pizza was to die for and he was sure many of the other experiments thought so too. How could you not think of it that way? They never really had food like that before.

.:Serria Hawkins:.
"Does it have to be abandoned?" Serria asked a bit quietly but then shrugged. When she imagined abandoned, she saw spider-webs and bugs and broken windows. It would be the last place someone would look for escaped experiments, that's for sure, but they wouldn't be able to stay for very long. Serria knew that much.
Serria sighed and that looked up at Jay and she smiled a bit as she saw his vibrantly colored wings. She was a bit jealous he had such wings but knew better than to think that way of people. "Let's try not to pick a creepy house full of spiders." She said and stood up to stretch out her wings and then took flight. The city didn't look like a place to keep empty buildings so she was going to see if the outkirts had anything to offer.

Akari kept glancing back at Ryu, his scowl making her frown. "Look, I'm sorry alright? I thought it was funny, even though it wasn't, but I didn't mean to make you so mad. Sorry." Her eyes widened in surprise as each word flew from her mouth, shocking herself. She never apologized to anyone. Ever. Not once in her life had she apologized, and if she ever did, she didn't expect for it to be at Ryu. Flying ahead of him, her wingstrokes pulled her down to the ground in a quick drop. Without waiting for him, she darted around an empty building, jumping into an abandoned alley, dodging rats and rusty trashcans, looking for anywhere they could get clothes.

Naomi laughed and rolled her eyes at his reply, soaring towards a more crowded part of the city. Unlike the others, she was headed somewhere where people went to get food, and even though it was just past dawn, people crowded the sidewalks and cars raced down the highways. Where there was a lot of people, there was a lot of food, and where there was a lot of food, it was bound to not be missed. It was feeding starving children after all. She was so far ahead of Damian that she almost missed his question, but she slowed down just enough to be side by side with him. Nodding, her mouth watered at the thought of pizza. "We're stealing Pizza Hut. It has been decided." She couldn't get her mind off the delicious suculant cheese, toasty pepperonis... Her fantasies were quickly interrupted by her stomach growling roaring though, so she could barely focus anymore.


:Jason Smith:

Jason turned around, flying by Serria and answering her question that had been meant for Akari. "Well, we need an abandoned building so that no one is there that can tell the white coats about us so we don't have to go back to the school." With that, he continued flying, suddenly having a thought popping into his head. "I lived in a building once, with my mom, but then she sold me to pay her bills. But I still love her. Well, I mean, she could have kept me, but because she loved me she gave me up. If she had kept me, she wouldn't have been able to pay the bills and we would have had to live on the streets, and then she wouldn't have been able to feed me, and then it wouldn't have turned out very good. Right?" With a sigh, he pushed the thoughts away and continued flying.

Ryu blinked when Akari started talking and he was a bit baffled on what she was saying. "You know, I wasn't really thinking about that." He said lightly and then raised an eyebrow as she flew ahead. She didn't really have to apologize, he half-heartedly didn't expect her to so he forgot about it. It wasn't difficult to follow after Akari when she dropped to the ground and took off like a dart.
Once he was there, he folded his arms and glanced around. It wasn't the greatest place in the world and it wasn't the brightest. But he spotted the end of the allyway and there was a sidewalk with people passing by. Some were in a rush while others took their sweet time. Their conversations and comments echoed through the ally and Ryu growled a little. Too many damn people in one spot.. Ryu glanced away from the sidewalk and shuffled his wings as he looked around with Akari.

.:Damian Auguste:.
Damian looked amused as he watched the hustle of the city, fast flowing and unstoppable. Nobody really looked up so he figured they were safe for the time being. "Alright, follow your nose." He shrugged and took a sharp turn. Once he looked down, there seemed to be a shopping strip just below him and there were small eating places and shops. One of the places had a neon sign of a pizza slice and he figured that was good enough for him. It may not be Pizza Hut but it was the closest thing he could find without getting to far into the city.
Damian tucked in his wings a bit and dived right after the shop and skidded in a landing on the roof. There was a door in front of him but the thing was locked. Damian huffed and thought about kicking the door in but he waited for Naomi for a few seconds before examining the small sign on the door. It said the shop was called Papa Johns. Damian shrugged and took a small step back before bringing his leg up and kicked in the door without much effort. Sadly, the door remained on it's rusty hindges and opened with a bang as it swung up against a wall. There was a small staircase leading inside.

.:Serria Hawkins:.
Serria's expression fell slightly when Jay explained how he got sold. It was Serria's opinion that real love meant that you would do anything for someone to keep them with you, or something to that nature. Unlike Jay's story, Serria was kidnapped at a young age and she doesn't have the slightest clue where she came from. She remembered her parents, and an older brother, but she didn't remember where she came from. It could be anywhere really, she hoped it was the country or somewhere without so many buildings.
"I guess," Serria replied lightly and dropped her gaze towards the ground to see if she could look for anything that looked abandoned. There were houses, lots of them, but they all looked brand new and seemed to have people in them. People were mostly leaving, locking their doors and getting into cars. Serria remember her momma doing that, she had to go to work. Serria didn't know where since she was too young to figure it out.

Akari glanced back to be sure he was following before weaving threw a gap leading to another alleyway. She was so busy looking around, avoiding the rats that cluttered the dirty crumbled sidewalks that she didn't see the huge gap in the brick paving until she tripped in it, her ankle twisting painfully inside. Stifling a scream of shock, she dropped to the ground, pulling her foot gingerly out of it, the pain shocking up through her body as she sat there in pain. FIguring that Ryu would follow her around the corner, she tried to stand up to act as if nothing was wrong, her pride coming before her fall. Literally. She collapsed in pain, her ankle practically crying out in agony when she tried to put weight on it.
Well [insert swear word of choice here]. This wasn't good at all.

Naomi searched the streets, but when she couldn't find a decent pizza hut in sight, she watched Damian drop towards the only smell of pizza around. A sign proclaimed 'Papa Johns' and Naomi couldn't help but let out a laugh. Her "papa's" name was John. How ironic. Seeing that it was not opened yet but making food, she dropped quickly after Damian, grateful for the fact that the strip mall was currently closed and there was few cars around, most people ignoring all the stores. When she saw the door was locked, she about vollunteered to pick the lock, stopping when he slammed the door open with his leg. Shrugging, she winced when the bang echoed down the staircases, and there was rustling in what she believed to be the kitchen, but no one emerged. Slowly making her way up the staircase, she stopped at two double doors, each with a plexi-glass circular window in the middle of each.
Peering in, her curious eyes spotted a delicious pizza boxed up and ready to go sitting on the center table. Grinning and licking her lips, she saw that the top of the box was labled, "All Meat." Ready to burst through the door and gorge down, a cook walked right past, and she ducked down quickly, but they weren't noticed. Only then did she notice that there was cooks everywhere swarming in the kitchen, cooking up pizzas. Of course, this was all too easy. Turning to Damian she said, "Should you cause the distraction or shall I?" with a mischevious grin lighting her face.

Jason looked and saw her doubtful expression but he tossed it away, figuring that no matter what anyone else though, he was going to believe in his mama, even though she was never going to come back for him. Flapping his wings, he suddenly spotted something in the distance. A black mansion sat in a corner near the edge of the town, windows broken and gaping doorways. Abandoned. Looking around the house, he saw that many of the houses and buildings around it seemed this way as well, but he did see one person crawl out of a doorway down the street and drive away in a banged up car. A bad part of town. Perfect. "What about over there?" He finally suggested to Serria as they got closer.

Ryu nearly jumped when he heard hit the pavement and a sharp pain seemed to hit in the back of his head. He quickly reached up to see what was the matter but found nothing, there was no wound or anything. He figured it was a migrain until he turned the corner to find Akari struggling to stand and then eventually falling. He back tracked her steps a bit and realized that she tripped. He was humored by the thought but he knew it was cruel than to find this amusing, so he quickly pushed the thought away and rushed over to be by Akari's side.
"Did you break it?" Ryu asked lightly and knelt over to reach for her arm and help Akari back up to her feet. After seeing how she was struggling with it he figured she must of sprained it, something that would heal in an hour or two. Possibly a whole day if she broke it or fractured it. Ryu sighed and wrapped Akari's arm around his neck once again, same as the time where he had to pull her out of the School when she nearly passed out right in front of him. Now he just hoped that Akari didn't protest against him or else this was going to be a long day. Him and Akari both value pride when it came to showing injuries or weakness so Ryu understood her if she decided against him but he half-heartedly wished she wouldn't just so that they could get this done an over with.

.:Damian Auguste:.
Damian mocked a thinking gesture before smirking. "Nah, I suck at sneaking around. Allow me.." He chuckled walked right into the busy kitchen. Nobody seemed to notice him until he started speaking.
"Attention all predictable and pitiful humans! You better start lining up to leave the building because there is going to be a fire drill!" He announced with much ethusiasm as if he was about to perform.
"Yeah, right. Get the hell out of here kid if you know what's good for you." A man spoke up and crossed his arms.
"Don't believe me? Just watch." Damian smiled and reached into his pocket and pulled out the silver lighter he collected from a knocked down Eraser, the one who was prone to smoking a ciggerette every so often. All eyes were on him, even the guy that spoke just a few seconds ago. Damian was enjoying all of the attention, bad or good, he felt like he had power over them. After seeing some of the shock and enraged faces of the kitchen staff members, Damian lit the lighter and waved his hand over the flame to allow the flame to grow and the fire alarms went off in a matter of seconds. Once the alarm started blaring, people started to scramble and shouting. The kitchen was cleared within moments and it left only a smiling Damian and the pizza ready for taking. He tilted his head and then closed the lighter and quickly waved his hand to rid of the flames crawling up his hand.
"Damn, didn't expect to go that fast.." Damian said lightly despite the loud alarm. He mocked a pouting face and reached up to pull the alarm out of the wall to stop the blaring after doing a quick jump, using his wings to a little for the extra boost to reach where the wall met the ceiling. The kitchen was quieted a little but the rest of the building had their alarms going off.

.:Serria Hawkins:.
Serria looked down when Jay finally spoke up again and she blinked at what she saw. The buildings here looked like the exact defenition of abandoned in Serra's book. Creepy, broken windows, doors practically about to fall off it's hidges if it was bothered to be moved. Perfect. Or this was what Akari probably was expecting at least.
"Alright, let's check it out before we bring the whole flock here." Serria said and began to lower herself towards the ground. She stopped in front of an eerie looking building that had vines grows up the walls and she shivered a bit. "Please let there be no spiders, please let there be no spiders," She said to herself before walking up to the door. It creaked open but she didn't hear anything else.

(While writing Damian's part, I find it kinda funny since I was listening to "Moves Like Jagger" by Maroon 5.. XD I'm making that his theme song now XP)
