Whisperingpaw smiled at Jaykit "Poppypaw and Pantherpaw if I heard Shinestar right."

Pantherpaw had to admit, he felt jealous at the way Poppypaw was looking at Sparkpaw... But he knew Poppypaw wouldn't leave him for anything. "I'm Pantherpaw." he said, laying his tail across Poppypaw's back, clearly noting to every cat that Poppypaw was his.

Pantherpaw looked at Poppypaw, trying to read the note in her eyes. Jealousy burst through him.. She seemed to be enjoying Sparkpaw! but then again... she had every right because he WAS her new denmate! Pantherpaw sighed in releif, and nuzzled close to Poppypaw. "So.. how are you liking SunClan so far, Poppypaw?"

"I like it!" Poppypaw purred to him, sensing his worry. "This is Sparkpaw- he's our new denmate. Maybe he can show us the territory later." She turned away for a second, so that no one could hear what she was saying but him. "Everyone here is so nice and inviting. Do you think the cats in our clans have figured out we are missing yet? What if they come looking for us?!" She mewed, her voice rising a bit in fear.

"We don't have to worry about that. I'm sure Spottedpaw told he clans... If not, we have the gathering for that." Pantherpaw said. Are u sure you don't mean SPARKPAW is enjoyning and inviting! he thought.

(how?! Lol.. )

Shinestar padded up to Pantherpaw and Poppypaw. "You two are joining Sandstreak and Iceclaw on a border patrol."

Poppypaw flattened her ears for a second, before nodding again. She took a deep breath to calm her self, but jumped a bit when Shinestar arrived. After hearing her request, she bowed respectfully to the leader. "Yes, Shinestar. We will leave right now!" She mewed. She had met Sandstreak and Iceclaw before at the gathering, so she tried to sort out their scents. Finally, she found the two cats by the entrance to the camp. "We're ready to go on the border patrol!" She mewed, trying to make her tone of voice sound bubbly and happy and confident. She stood right next to Pantherpaw, making sure to not move more than a kittenlength away from him.

Sandstreak led the patrol out of camp. "We'll go to the CloudClan border first."

Sunstream lay stood next to Bra,blefrost.

Jaykit's eyes stretched wide. "Are they new Clan cats?"

Sparkpaw stared after Pantherpaw and Poppypaw, confused. What was that all about? He twitched his tail, amused, and padded up to Shinestar. "Could I have something useful to do?"
