Kiki wandered down the garage, hearing a sound. She sighed with relief when she saw Dusk. But she couldn't take any chances. She pulled her violet rifle out of the pocket in her back. "Who are you?" She called. Her finger was on the trigger, aimed at him. She waited for an answer. Who is he? Why is he here? Questions she couldn't answer crashed into her mind.

- Dusk -

I wasn't surprised when East jumped in front of me, growling at the girl. I sighed, and then smiled, putting my hand on his head, " Calm down boy, it's just a girl with a gun, she won't hurt you!" I promised, saying it as calmly as possible when a girl was pointing a gun at me. "Well, hello! Um, I'm Dusk, glad to meet you, can you but you gun down now?" I asked, smiling now. I wasn't a people-person, nor ever wanted to. People where aggresive and caused this whole Apocalypse in the first place. For a moment I was disappointed in being a human as well.

I narrowed my eyes into the shadows behind the girl who was pointing the gun at me, suddently spying two lively blue eyes staring out from the darkness behind the girl, a smiling forming as well, like it expected me to recognize it. I suddently wished I had a gun. Well, at least I was pretty sure it was a zombie, for if it was a zombie, it would have already mindlessly lunged at the girl instead of waiting ever so patiently in the darkness like it was.

Secondly, Zombies didn't have lively dark blue eyes nor, as far as I know, smiled.

I was truly in dager of giving my position away now, for I could just barely contain the laughter that was about to burst forth from me. This girl had popped out of no where with just a gun and all she noticd was a boy and his dog. By any means, she wouldn't last more than a few days longer out here in this war zone. Nope. I was tempted to pop out of the shadows, screaming ' BOO! ' at her. It would have scared her out of her wits, no doubt.

No, I decided to stay quite, like a ghost, instead of a moaning, mindless zombie. Well, at least Zombies knew when there was someone behind them with a bag full of bombs and TNT, a rifle, a knife, and a few more deadly weapons. Now don't believe I noticed the boy suddently looking towards me. I cursed my eyes for a moment and my amusement at the situation. So I did what was logical of me.

"Well hello!" I gave my position away. -

Kiki realized Dusk was staring behind her. She whipped around, and screamed when she saw the blue eyes, and the creepy smile. She backed up slowly, aiming the gun at the person, or maybe a zombie. "Come out slowly, whoever you are!" She yelled loudly. She waited, her finger slowly closing in on the black trigger. Her brain told her to shoot, but her heart told her to calm down and don't pull the trigger. Was she going to take this... person as a zombie? Was she going to take the zombie as a human? Would she be injured by just not pulling the trigger? She was beside Dusk, looking at him expecting to see a gun or a weapon whip out. When it didn't happen, she darted her eyes back to the staring person. "Well?" She called again. Dusk seemed fine, but this person wasn't a zombie. What zombie has blue eyes and smiles?

I narrowed my eyes at the girl. She was starting to annoy me. "Oh yes, start screaming louder, attract real a real zombie hoard and lead us to our doom. What are you, stupid?" I growled under my breath harshly. Well, it was true. Any human in their right senses in the middle of a Zombie apocalypse would try their best to stay quite and unnoticed. "I'll take that as a yes. Come on, this area seems to have been invaded not to long ago. The smell of decomposing meat is filling my nose and I like to keep my senses clear."

I turned around, throwing a bag behind my back towards the boy and his dog, who where clearly surprised when I did so, probably thinking they where explosives or TNT or something. I wouldn't blaim them. I keep a ton of those in the other bag which was still at my side. " That, my dear friend, is a bag with two first aid kits, one for you and Zombie-Food and the other for the firl who was pointing a gun at your head just a minute ago. It also contains a knife, and a handgun. Maybe a bag of chips, if I didn't eat it earlier." I added happily, then turned around, narrowing my dark blue eyes at the two.

"Well, my name is Sapphire Kiorori. Glad to meet you two and Zombie-Food."


-Dusk-

I took it that Zombie-Food was the girl- Sapphire's nickname for East, who was standing by my side drooling at the girl's feistiness. I sighed, and picked up the bag, double checking it wasn't TNT or Bombs. It seemed like the type of thing this Sapphire would do, and I could say I'm judging her pretty well considering I've only known her for a few minutes and that her creepy Zombie-smile scared the living day-lights out of me.

Once I was finally convinced that the bag wasn't filled with anything more dangerous than a bag of chips beside the two weapons she had mentioned, I swung it over my shoulder, and smiled. "Well, my names Dusk, Zombie-Food over here is East, he's an Australian Shepard." I said as kindly and unafraid as I could, half-expecting her or the other girl next to me to pop out a gun and point it at my head like I myself was a zombie and not one of them.

So much for being one of the last males of the human species, no?-

Kiki slowly put her gun down. "Would you all stop calling me Zombie-Food? I'm well known as Kiki, thank you." She narrowed her eyes. "Atleast we all have weapons now." She looked at her rifle and put it away. "You're right," she looked around the garage. "We should go as soon as possible. I don't think I want to catch a zombie apocalypse eating all you people." She smirked. "I'm not as weak as you think. Just because I haven't had food for awhile means nothing," she glanced at East. "The dog is probably the first to go." She walked away from Dusk. "Before we get all personal, I must remind you we are in a zombie apocalypse." She grabbed a rubber-band out of her pocket. She carefully wrapped it around her hair, putting it in a pony tail. She smiled. "Sappire, Dusk, and..." SHe glared at East. "East, let's go."
