Spartan smirked and reared up just as Ace was approaching. It showed his true power. The Grulla stallion snorted. He glared at Ace "now Ace, why must you interupt everything?" he said bitterly yet calmly. The stallionpijned his ears, clearly annoyed by the stallions actions. Spartan considered himself lead stallion around her, and he thought he was clearly stronger. The perfect match for River, and any mare who was dumb enough to submit to him.

Emily let Calypso sniff around at the very front of the paddock, Lead rope in Hand, near the gate. She was totally unaware of the confrontation between River, Spartan, and Ace. She rubbed the mare's side. Calypso jumped a bit, but calmed down since it was Alex. She flicked her tail and pushed her muzzle against Emily's face, her whiskers on her chin making Emily giggle.

May finally decided to trot over to them. May's tail swished and she glared at Spartan. "Go away and toy with a different mare, Spartan. None of us wants you here." She narrowed her eyes. "Don't act like you own everything and everyone. Every horse here knows that Ace is lead stallion. Go away." Her voice was clear and her head was up, her front hoof pawing at the ground and her nostrils almost flaring.
